lmao a leftie friend of mine is seething and schizo posting about this
It's all exactly the same joke as in 2003, when Iraq allegedly had weapons of mass destruction.

Only this time everyone was even sure and openly admitted that Iran did not yet have nuclear weapons. And officially, they're not even sure if they really intended to develop one. But that's all irrelevant.

And the press is going completely crazy, as usual. I'm reading everywhere right now that the US tried to stop Iran's nuclear program “through negotiations”. LOL. The negotiation was: either you capitulate or we'll crush you. Trump attacked because he wanted the fame. And Israel attacked because it's the perfect distraction from the Gaza war, they have huge domestic problems and Iran is currently weaker than ever.

Also interesting: everyone agrees that Iran has hardly any means of striking back. And if they do, it will be by attacking US bases in the region. But that would of course be terrorism, everyone agrees on that.

I can't help but vomit all the time at all the hypocrisy, it's unbearable

No you're not. You're for whatever keeps you in comfort while your kids and grandchildren suffer.

How are those absolutely massive mass deportations going btw? You MAGAs manage to remove more than 1% of the illegals yet?

Cause you know chances are a lot of your political capital just got thrown in the trash. Oh, wait, no, you think the opposite just happened. LMAO AF.

Edit: I'm going to lol pretty hard if Donny ends up giving amnesty to a shitload of illegals before 2028.

so has there been confirmation on the base being destroyed? i keep seeing posts like this

it would be fucking embarrassing if we did all this and didn't actually destroy the base.
Trump bombed shit his first term. I'm genuinely wondering how old most of you fags were during his first term because he's really not doing anything different now than he did then
you can think it was the right move but this is significantly more serious than anything he did in the first term. probably the most serious since Libya.

Despair aint an option friend
But I don't despair. Carl was right, but for the wrong reasons. I read too much history to get excited over people making the same mistakes over and over again. I got my own shit goin on. 75% of what matters to me fit on the lot my house was built upon.

I simply feel like I'm more grounded than most people.

Do you think our weapons appear out of the ether? They don't, they're made by American (most of the time) companies with American workers. The money returns to the economy either way.

The US literally pays itself to make weapons and we also sell those weapons to other countries. Part of the reason we tolerated Europe being our bitch for so long was because we could make them buy billions in US arms
I see that, and also say that welders are part of the infrastructure to make bombs, woth the added bonus of making things that are not bombs as well.

I'm not even saying "don't make weapons." That american made (most of the time) is part of the problem. We lose not only a financial benefit, but a strategic advantage by neglecting american workers. We have to stick our necks into the Middle East and Taiwan because we don't make our own oil and chips domestically. My point with the jobcorp example was outlining how much repubs will neglect americans through lack of training and support. It was a "failing" program that was still very much in the green and producing the workers we need for those weapons.

Trump will support ending illegal immigration and tariffs which support domestic production, but completely fail and supporting the workforce needed for that production. Instead of grants for factories and machining he'll dump it on an "AI infrastructure" which, while I could whine about how it's a technology without a problem to solve or a way to make money, is still reliant on manufacturing from outside the country.

So true king, this is exactly like bombing Syria.
Also recall that was another unforced error that President Trump got dog walked into thanks to Ivanka's hysterics over those blatantly staged White Helmet videos of "dead" children following the totally not made up "gas attack."

So if MIGA would like to tie the action in Iran to the Syria bombing, I guess they can. Not a comparison I would wanna make were I them, but OK.

Remarks from a number of American politicians and officials on the recent American strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Vice President JD Vance:
VICE PRESIDENT VANCE: "We destroyed the Iranian nuclear program ... and we did it without endangering the lives of American pilots. That's an incredible thing."

VANCE: "We do not want war with Iran. We actually want peace, but we want peace in the context of them not having a nuclear weapons program — and that's exactly what the President accomplished last night."

VANCE: "The Iranians are clearly not very good at war. Perhaps they should follow President Trump's lead and give peace a chance."

VP VANCE: "If the Iranians attack us, they're going to be met with overwhelming force ... We did not attack the nation of Iran. We did not attack any civilian targets. We didn't even attack military targets outside of the three nuclear weapons facilities."

VP: "We have to give an incredible amount of gratitude to the troops...They flew thousands of miles away, a 30 hour nonstop flight, they never touched down on the ground & they dropped a 30,000 pound bomb on a target about the size of a washing machine."

JD Vance attempted to assuage the concerns of Americans disillusioned by 25 years of failed “foreign entanglements” in the Middle East by affirming that this time it’ll be different because we don’t have a “dumb president.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio:
Secretary of State Rubio warns - if Iran retaliates, it’ll be the worst mistake they ever made.

Says the US can fly in and out of Iran at will. (100%. After the IAF spent 9 days obliterating any Iranian air defenses with more than 1,200 airstrikes)

Maria Bartiromo: Do you expect Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz to disrupt oil transportation?Secretary Rubio: "If they do that, it will be another terrible mistake.

It's economic suicide for them if they do it, and we retain options to deal with that."

Secretary of State Rubio: Why does Hamas exist? Because of Iran... Who built the IEDs that maimed and killed American soldiers in Iraq? Iran. They're behind every problem in this region... Imagine those people having a nuclear weapon... That is unacceptable."

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton:

Mustached neocon John Bolton praised Trump’s attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.

“We are on the verge of potentially seeing regime change in Iran.”
