If stopping Irans nuclear program was as easy as dropping a dozen bunker busters I just can’t help but feel that isn’t quite the case.

For sure Iran will cry “it’s all over, bad USA!” But I think the program hasn’t been hampered enough and they will make haste.

Trump has declared a victory without even an inspection; so all Iran has to do is say “yes, our program is in tatters” and continue with it because Trump couldn’t then say “we didn’t stop it”.

Its not about enforcement its about both parties having a predetermined convention on behavior that they can expect the other party to follow. It bridges a communication gap, game theory basically. So as long as I dont bomb ambulances then I can expect the other side not bomb my ambulances either.
Once one party breaks this agreement its basically null and void with whoever broke it first being responsible. Ukies and Palis can cry all they want about their hospitals being bombed, they were the ones who used them as military installations in the first place which is a war crime.
