7 B2's, that is wild. There is a parallel universe out there in the multiverse where this mission failed and we lost more then a third of our stealth bomber fleet. This was quite the roll of the dice for America. Sure, the odds were good, but the dice can be fickle. Maybe Iran got lucky, maybe their radars could at least detect the incoming bombers and put up enough fire into the sky to take em down. That future would be an absolute fucking disaster, not just for US strategic posture, but also for Trump politically.

China's numbers would be an issue and their weapons/air force from all accounts aren't garbage. It has been rumored that their Navy is essentially useless and the ships are constructed like shit.

China has numbers but absolute garbage force projection and terrible logistics. Any attack they make would turn out like their invasion of Vietnam went, but any one trying to invade would find themselves like Chosin - drowning in a river of blood as the chinese clogged their guns with chinese corpses.

Not for nothing, but I think a lot of things had to happen for Iran to get to this point. Syria getting swept from the board a few months ago, Russia/China and to a lesser extent pakistan not really helping them like one would expect.

Regular reminder that two of our largest overseas military bases are in Seoul, South Korea and Okinawa, Japan, and "anti-war" spergs from both the US and Japan/South Korea want them removed despite the VERY obvious consequence of China becoming more emboldened. And how do the plan to feed all those soldiers? How do they plan to keep all their equipment fueled? China used the Zerg Rush method on the USA in the Korean War and it was barely effective then. They made considerable progress because they caught the US Army by surprise when they had thought the war was about over. But by the time the lines solidified, the zerg rush method basically devolved into Space Marines slaughtering space bugs with bolter rifles. This was 80 years ago too. In an era where things were more analogue and not reliant on a massive population that requires global supply chains to keep fed and happy.

China doesn't participate in proxy wars in Africa; they gyp them out of all their natural resources and port control by making them sign contracts with the Africans only getting the shittest infrastructure ever. Nothing militarily is involved.
