He's been particularly vicious and unhinged lately. I'm genuinely curious why. It's not like anything all that important has happened publicly. What are the possibilities?

He's Wile E. Coyote. Whatever time, energy and money he spent to achieve a certain outcome isn't panning out to be the massive W his investment warranted. He's also (finally) approaching the conclusion that he has no viable prospects socially, legally or financially.

- His Aaron RP gamble will likely fizzle out on Wednesday, regardless if Kayla speaks or not.
- The bodycam dam is already leaking, no matter how much interference the local authorities run for him. Mama K and the other lady wrecked his hopes for full secrecy.
- He's probably a pariah in his home. For all we know he tried to revamp relationships with his kids, Kayla or the inkaws and got the cold shoulder.
- The Karen Read trial wasn't the great comeback for him as he anticipated. He managed to alienate most if not all of lawtube, a.k.a. the closest thing he ever had to 'friends'. No one watches him to hear his take on certain topics.

  • The County has re-opened the case about the chokeslam (there's something about that story that seems unresolved)
  • He's realized he's among the worst Lawtubers around; he's effectively bottomed out as a streamer
  • Something something ethics complaint
  • Coaching Kayla for Wednesday has proven harder than expected
  • His PO caught up with him on any number of things - whippits?
Or... just family drama (I'm expecting a kid or two to move in with the Slettas any day now) or facing bankruptcy, or or or or
Also, Randazza no-showed the Montegraph hearing and described him as a practicing lawyer in a legal filing (I am not clear on how impactful the second thing is, if at all).

𝝽đ𝖌𝖊𝖑٥٢đ Rekieta strikes again, this time, he wasn't even mentioned, but felt the need to jump in on a 99 follower account.
I think if we're being fair he gets a pass on this one. The other dude was making light of his friend's death (Legal Vices) and told someone else to join him in death.

Really gay way to tell someone to kill themselves though.

The anti-Karen Reed people are unhinged. But you're right; somehow Balldo can't even wish someone death properly.

In the last 5 pages someone found a 299 USD option. Nick lying has long ceased to be shocking...
Yes, I saw that, which is why I said I understand there are cheaper options. But even if someone wanted to use the "premier" provider in MN (like, say, if they were an actual practitioner in MN and operated locally so they wanted MN-specific content and actually to learn something), it's just gotten cheaper and cheaper and easier and easier to get it.

Plus we know Nick never goes for the "cheap" option [unless it involves feeding his kids, or his clothing choices], so I am, as I have been for ages, pointing to the most accessible and reliable content he could acquire, even at a premium for MN-specific content.

The only legally relevant thing in your list is possibly the last one, and even that is only marginally relevant and likely not (and how do you know about the second-to-last one?)

If it wasn't a photo/ image she'd shared widely, it really doesn't matter about her other activities or behaviors.
For the criminal charge, sure, but how will Balldo’s billion dollar civil suit play out? My naive assumption is that “Kayla” needs to convince a jury to assign a dollar value to the emotional harm or reputational damage that resulted from the Toe’s caddish disregard of milady’s modesty. That seems much less of a slam dunk to me.

I saw a stream of his this week and I think Kurt mentioned that he has some sort of eye photosensitivity that causes him physical pain (probably from staring at a bright screen for extended periods of time), and wearing the shades helps mitigate it.
If true, Kurt should consider investing in an E-Ink monitor. Boox makes one, and I know there are some others.

Everyone in those quotes and replies are nearly as vitriolic because it was someone wishing some who was pro Karen Read to kill themselves while dragging the name of a beloved deceased Lawtuber Legal Vices through the mud. No one took kindly to that.

Nick's response is more extreme, but somehow he manages to blend in the crowd this time.

Oh, fair - I haven't looked into the civil standards (THANKS for the research project - I can't not look into it now, even though it is objectively a waste of my time :P).

And yeah, the value of her "emotional harm" from this is ZERO. ...though I'd argue that if this dumb thing with Aaron is worth a dollar or a few, the value of the emotional harm from her husband should be a million times that. Sadly, no statutory reference for that.

Demon face
Ghoul

Just for shits and giggles, I looked up a print of a Joker poster on Etsy and found one. Even trying to make it as expensive as humanly possible where you can get it at a size of like 4 and a half feet by 9 feet it is less than $3.5k, without the sale.

Good work to that artist though, fleecing this idiot.

What happens when this thread reaches 9999? Does Nick ascend?
He descends lower but that's normal.

I read this in bed earlier in the week. It made me laugh so loud I woke up my wife.

Coyote vs Acme

  • His lawyer in the Montagraph case was a no-show last week. No notice, no reason, no show. (One wonders if no payment)
  • His lawyer in the Montagraph case appeared on camera the same day at the Karen Read trial verdict, shaking hands and posing for pictures.
  • His lawyer in the Montagraph case recently included claim that Nick has a functioning law firm and is performing as a lawyer, a claim which may put Nick at jeopardy.
  • Nick pulled the rug out from his dwindling Youtube audience by being a no-show on the day of Karen Read's trial verdict.
  • Hardin filed lawsuit against those in Kandiyohi County who have been preventing bodycam video release.
  • [EDIT TO ADD] Nick missed stream after he claimed to have an important appointment with a doctor.
It's been a hell of a week for Nick, but then cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Last I checked, those refresh rates were not good for video, but if he does static page reading, it could be helpful.
There are three general issues with eink displays:
1. Poor refresh rates
2. Color is hard and is weird when you have it
3. Expensive

If you can get past these for your use case, then they can be pretty cool. I love my little eink ereader

EDIT: After like 10 minutes of searching around, I found a company that makes eink computer monitors. No idea of the quality, but if Kurt is reading this, maybe look into one of these for your issues.

My own fanfic suspicions orbit around the lawyer who xeeted in defense for Nick's former nanny.
Same, and I don't think it's fanfic. The man came out in defense of Chaney. #neverforget

Something's up, and I don't care that @RaptInPlastic and a couple more people are in on some deep secret. It's not all that hard to piece it together, more or less.

If it's important to Nick's law license, all will be revealed in time.

What I find funny is this: Who cares if his law license is revoked? Sure, it's fodder. The thread would laugh about it for 10 pages.

But he's already burned his online career and never did much actual law anyway.

I suppose it matters more in the Monty case... but what damages can Monty get? Nick has no money beyond crappy art and the Mustang. The house and the family cars cannot be liquidated. Trust money is protected.

I'm confused about what the issue is beyond embarrassment.
