Not for nothing, but I think a lot of things had to happen for Iran to get to this point. Syria getting swept from the board a few months ago, Russia/China and to a lesser extent pakistan not really helping them like one would expect.
Israel provided bomb cam footage of 2 F-14's being destroyed on the ground. It is reasonably speculated that those might have been the last 2 specimens of that noble bird left in any operational condition worldwide. Iran has not released any footage of more than a single airborne F-14, nor has more than 1 flying one been detected by others in a couple of years now. The F-4's are probably a lot easier for them to find parts for. There were more than a dozen non US operators. There are tons of them in various nations boneyards, and I believe several nations, such as Japan, produced them locally under license. So the Iranians probably still can beg borrow bribe or steal the occasional spare parts from somebody.Has there been any evidence of the Iranian Air Force even attempting to respond? The sole evidence of their existance in this conflict was an F4 Phantom flying CAP in Mashhad on Day 1 when Iran thought it was too far for Israeli jets to hit.
Its more than that with Syria and Iraq. Iraq has not moved heavy equipment in the Sunni/Kurd center or north. Kurds for fear the kurds would use it to start a war with Turkey, Central because the Shia government fears the Sunnis would use it against them next time they rise up. Neither Iran or Turkey, (nor Aremenia or Azerbijan) are really serious threats, so Iraq can afford to leave the area largely undefended. The fall of Syria was obviously huge, and basically severed the "Shiite Crescent" and helped expand a potential air corridor to Iran.
Iraq, while nominally pro-Iranian, is functionally a wild-west state. Furthermore, the pro-Iranian Shias are mostly concentrated in the south while nothern Iraq (where Israel would be flying) is dominated moreso by Sunnis (who generally hate Iran) and Kurds (who hate everyone).
There have been 4 confirmed F-14 ground kills, but all of them had not moved in 10+ years. They were almost certainly non-functional which is why they were left behind in the tactical airwing retreat. Iran had 74 and from seeing aircraft moving around its confirmed that at least 25 of them of are still operational.Israel provided bomb cam footage of 2 F-14's being destroyed on the ground. I don't see how. This is just another instance of US stealth bombers shitting all over our enemies with impunity. I will refer you to US predictions before the 1991 air campaign against Iraq where the US privately was prepared for up to a 50% loss rate of F-117s. Instead we got 1,271 F-117 sorties with zero losses against the fourth largest IADS network on the planet. This was quite the roll of the dice for America.
Yeah. As I've said before, this was Israel's prime opportunity. Iran's regional strength for the past twenty years has been its massive proxy network. This was also their primary means of deterrence. With their proxies degraded, neutralized, or otherwise engaged, Iran was wide open. As for China/Russia/Pakistan getting involved, that was never going to happen. Pakistan and Iran are not friends, China is an ally of convenience, and Russia is indisposed.I think a lot of things had to happen for Iran to get to this point.
Do you just make up random shit for (you)s? Legitimately asking. These bunker busters were made specifically for Iran's fortified nuclear sites
I'm more than happy with just periodically checking in and bombing them back to the stone age until either their own people get tired of it and revolt or the jews move in to take their foreskins. They've made a very good show of the fact that they are very easy to make "find out" if they want to "fuck around"Guess we gotta put boots on the ground after all lest we be back in the same spot 45 years from now.
They were developed due to perceived under performance of previous bunker buster bombs in Iraq. These bunker busters were made specifically for Iran's fortified nuclear sites
Truly our greatest of allies... The Euros would have just wagged fingers. All it took was Israel to just give it a swift kick and the entire rotting edifice came crashing down.
Those 2 they blew up were reportedly airframes that had been sitting there for years just being cannibalized for parts. It is reasonably speculated that those might have been the last 2 specimens of that noble bird left in any operational condition worldwide.
Forget jewish lawyers, I need jewish war planners. Its more than that with Syria and Iraq. Iraq has not moved heavy equipment in the Sunni/Kurd center or north. this gave Israel a massive opportunity to open corridor to go to Iran, if they could only get through Syria's dense AAD. So they worked with Turkey on a deal, one I doubt Turkey knew the full extent of (but maybe they did, they hate Iran too): We help take down Assad, you let us destroy Syria's air defense network. Assad falls in November - we're talking 8 months ago - this gives Israel now a full open path to go bomb Iran.
But Iran still has significant AAD infrastructure. So Israel provokes Iran into doing something stupid by bombing one of the IRGC commanders meeting with Hezbollah. Iran launches missiles, Israel responds by sending jets the long way out over the Red Sea to bomb Iranian missiles but most important Air Defense radar. So that now, when they go to destroy Iran's nuclear sites they not only have a direct route to Iran over land, but Iranian AAD is already degraded.
You may not like it, but this what peak 4D chess looks like.
Honestly, I wonder how much of this would have gone down in this way if those retards in Gaza could have kept it in their pantsThis war those retards in Gaza started has started to knock over bigger domino's.
Euros would have wagged fingers at us for hurting brown feelingsTruly our greatest of allies... The Euros would have just wagged fingers.

The quoted post was mentioning no help arriving from Russia. And its the same reason none came for Syria - Russia cannot help, they have nothing left. They are being forced to pull out of Mali for the same reason. No matter what you'll always find a way to sperg about Russia
You are the retard wondering Iran's rival Pakistan isn't coming to help to them.To be fair to him, I did broach the Russia stuff. I think he's dead wrong and mostly retarded, but he didnt' bring it up out of the blue.
Let's be real, Israel had their own reasons for kicking Iran in the balls. But them doing so also created an opportunity for America, which had been for years paralyzed by indecision over what to do about these rogue nations gnawing on the roots of its Empire.Truly our greatest of allies... The Euros would have just wagged fingers.
China is still mostly successful (at least when compared to its BRICS counterparts); tbh I just wanna see an entire navy get sunk in the south china sea if WW3 starts (probably chinas). Now they are getting curb stomped and the USA is discovering the Multi Polar, BRICS, Turd World axis of resistance against the American Empire was a bunch of bullshit backed up by nothing but copium and propaganda.
If you looked at my posting history in this thread you'd see that I made it pretty clear that I don't think Russia has any desire (or capability) to help Iran. Additionally, putin can always suck up to china even more for those parts (assuming they haven't already made preparations to make those parts themselves if they can)The quoted post was mentioning no help arriving from Russia. And its the same reason none came for Syria - Russia cannot help, they have nothing left. They are being forced to pull out of Mali for the same reason.
You can cope whatever you want but Russia isn't helping their source of missile parts, ammo, and long range one-way drones because they do not have the capability to do so.
China is very good at building large navies. Every century they build an impressive one, largest in the world even. Then they sail it out into the ocean and promptly get destroyed.China is still mostly successful (at least when compared to its BRICS counterparts); tbh I just wanna see an entire navy get sunk in the south china sea if WW3 starts (probably chinas).

They started to make their own spare parts. F-14 are incredible aircraft in terms of performance.F-14s are maintenance nightmares and its honestly surprising Iran extended their service life for so long.
They could technically spare some Su-30 & Su-35 fighters. The quoted post was mentioning no help arriving from Russia. And its the same reason none came for Syria - Russia cannot help, they have nothing left. They are being forced to pull out of Mali for the same reason.
