Well, she said FFG DM'd her with the offer, and it sounded to me like she was considering it, at least momentarily. If she wasn't she would have gone off in a rage. "HOW DARE THAT GOBLIN THINK SHE CAN TAKE ANOTHER CAHT FROM ME!! AND OY DON'T NEED ANY CHEAP-ASS CAR FROM HER!!!" She said she was going to decline (not that she HAD declined), but we know how often Chins changes her moind, so stay tuned!!

I do not think she should get a car even if she needs one. Insurance, registration, petrol, usual maintenance all cost money that she does not have. Taking a taxi, or uber even a couple of times a week would be a lot cheaper.

It depends on how great the lure of The Long Road gets. Also, she can't live without her precious drive-thrus, which is why she started driving in Kuwait. Can you imagine her asking an Uber driver to take her to the McDonalds drive-thru? It's not like there's anywhere she NEEDS to go, and places considered walkable for the average person wouldn't be for her. If she's forced to be a Peetz-level shut-in she'll go crazy, and she's already bored with the cat, so the more I think about it the more I wouldn't be surprise if she eventually caves and accepts FFG's offer "in a moment of weakness." She's not going to consider those pesky things like insurance, registration, gas and maintenance.

If Sydney is her house, the downstairs is a 2 bedroom apartment and a 1 bedroom apartment, and the upstairs is 2 1 bedroom apartments.

I could find the upstairs layout, so she's not up there.

With the strange indent for the closet/ kitchen etc? It's a kitchen with one bedroom. Why do you think that isn't it?
It also has this weird looking "extra door" in the hallway which could lead to that balcony.

No its not but its very simliare. There is no line of site that matches what we've seen with her sitting by a window and into the bathroom door.

Same seat, slightly different camera that lets you see its definitely a bathroom on the image right.


So if she's on sydney she would have be in apartment 2, as I believe apartment 1 is the main 2 bedroom frm the listing, and 3&4 are on the upstairs.

She'd have to be sitting here on the red dot, but theres no wall behind her. the bathroom is more "centered" onto the room she's sitting in and not along the same wall she's sitting. Also that side is an intererior wall, no window. If she was sitting by the window, she couldn't look into the bathroom.

This is grim. The entire downstairs IS the 2 bedroom. That means just one of two things. This is the wrong house.
Or she's down in the basement. But i see no entrance for the basement apartment.

And you see that shelf on that window? its for an AC. So she'd be in apartment 4 if she's in this house. It could explain why her closet has an angled ceiling. They just took the "centers" of the eaves.

Looking for a mature, quiet and respectful tenant, that keeps as close to a 9-5 schedule as possible. Not interested in loud tenants that are always entertaining guests. It's a quiet house with older tenants and the intention is to keep it that way.

To be fair, Chantal says lots of things, much of it made up nonsense that she’s forgotten minutes later. We all know this, so all talk regarding the Kia is suspect. She mentioned that she left the dealership because the salespeople were getting too pushy. If she really did go to a dealer, (and I totally believe she would have because life for her without a car is misery at home and having to plan shit), it would have been the financing person that really pissed her off. I doubt Chantal could convince anyone to go guarantor on a car loan for her, when everyone close enough to her to consider it has seen her irresponsibility not only with regard to credit, but also to driving in general.

She needs to concern herself with getting hold of some insulin, before worrying about getting a car or a cat. The consequences of living without any insulin (as she’s currently admitted she is) is going to come crashing down on her very quickly. The subsequent ER beeze could happen any day now. Hopefully she’s sorted out some ambulance cover so she has a ride there.

ETA: I haven’t seen it mentioned here yet (but could have missed it), she claims she’s paying a bit over $1400/month for her flop house. That is inclusive of utilities. Wonder what her landlord will think once he sees the electricity bill now she has an inefficient window air conditioner that will never be turned off.

I wonder what the humidity is where she lives?
Those little window units get frozen up if you drop them below 70 in humidity, and we know she likes to keep the thermostat super low.

Some people consider them the same thing, but they are not. Vaping doesn’t create smoke, it produces an aerosol (tiny droplets of liquid suspended in air). It doesn't stain the walls, clothes, fingers etc... With some juices, the vape/cloud/aerosol produces a smell but it's usually fruity or sweet and dissipates quickly. imo, her vaping won't be a problem.

Yes, this is the same listing. When I found the same listing a few days ago, I saw the 'no pets preferred' and that made me hesitant that was her building, but as I looked on in Canada I read that landlords/rentals can't forbid owners from having pets in Canada unless it's in a shared space, so it's just something said and not enforced (correct me if I'm wrong CA Farmer's).

Right, and that's why I only included one picture of the unit pages ago. I didn't want her alogs to harass someone on FB when I wasn't sure if that was her building. Not like I care if they harass her in the world she created for herself.

This is true in Ontario, but not in all provinces. There are very few things that are the same in all provinces, most laws and services are done at the provincial level. Healthcare, education, drivers licensing etc is all provincial.

As for vaping, even if she smoked cigarettes I think she'd have to be a much heavier smoker to actually run afoul of the landlord. Especially if she primarily smoked on the patio. It's annoying, but smokers still get away with it all the time.

Nobody is going to care about her vaping. The noise, maybe, but the bar is very low for renters in Ontario. I've had much worse neighbours than Chantal who never faced consequences.
