It's amazing it took this long for something to happen given how many events he's showed up to completely smashed (pun not intended).
Also, for anyone thinking this is The End of Mang0: You Shall Not Com(pete), Mang0's status isn't even comparable to Hax$'s. Mang0 has been able to make a brand for himself and make a fairly successful streaming career, so even if he was unilaterally banned from every tournament in existence, he'd still have a big enough following that he'd probably make it as long as he doesn't drink himself six feet under. Plus, he's basically THE poster child of Melee, widely considered "the GOAT," and has been around basically since the scene began. I'm doubtful the Ludwig ban will be permanent, but even if it was I seriously doubt he's gonna get banned from all tournaments for good. Maybe a year suspension at most, and that's being pessimistic.

Streamers are drama whores so when you act in any way problematic you’re gonna get dogpiled and this 33 year old father of a 10 year old has enough history and visual evidence of his dumbass antics to know better at this point. But he is shielded by his community for being good at vidya.
In other words, what else would you expect them to do, they probably got excited at all the engagement they were gonna get being victims.

Watch how easy it's going to be for this guy to welcomed back into the Smash community with open arms, meanwhile dozens of other players have been banned for life for saying no-no words as teenagers or speaking out against community members with more power.
Hax was banned for 4 years and harassed to death because he made a video criticizing Leffen (another Ludwig dickrider and inner circle friend, how interesting!) with the wrong tone. Mang0 is literally doing shit that would get you kicked out of any casual social gathering, much less a semi-"professional" streaming/entertainment environment (by Twitch standards), dressed down to his boxers humping behind a woman's head and next to her face on camera, while he's fucking MARRIED and has a kid.
Whatever sanctions or bans he gets for this is all for show, he brings in viewers and eyes and has powerful friends (like the aforementioned faggot Ludwig), he'll be back on top in no time like nothing happened.

He has thousands of Twitch subs and if he hasn't been a retard with the money that he's earned, he won't be having to apply at 7-Eleven anytime soon. Unlike a Balldo wearing lawyer, I hope that he takes this time to lay off the booze as he clearly doesn't know/respect his limits. As for competing, he's still a top player, so hopefully the Melee Community don't pull a Hax on him out to dry.
