So yes and no. There's a throw away line about God making more wives for their sons. Pretty shit all around but I know a couple things via osmosis.
If you have money and/or stable: Desalination + Aquifers. Israel, Oman, Saudis, Qatar.
Iraq and Jordan rely on rivers, but Jordan (stable, relatively) also has facilities to recycle/reuse waste water for efficiency alongside some groundwater and desalination stuff they're trying to get into. How the fuck Syria, Lebanon or Yemen are doing I got no idea.
