Here is the timeline of what happened:

1. Trump announces a ceasefire yesterday, giving 6 hours for both sides to wrap up their operations.

2. Israel starts to bomb Iran heavily.

3. Iran shoots 5 missile barrages at Israel, one of which killed 4 people.

4. Trump’s deadline goes into effect and Iran shoots another barrage.

5. Trump announces his deadline is in effect on TRUTH and asks for no more firing.

6. Iran fires one missile three hours later which does not land, per Trump.

7. Israel vows to respond.

8. Trump publicly demands that Israel not respond and that its planes turn around.

9. Israel strikes a minor site and turns its planes around
If they are going to keep doing these petty back and forth attacks, maybe they should do that weird dance battle thing India and Pakistan does?

They seem to be doing softer blows instead of a full stop.

It's like a reverse game of chicken now.
No. It's like two siblings in the back of the car doing the "Touching" war. Dad has turned around and yelled at them to stop touching each other or he'll pull the car over.

Now each one is trying to get the last micro touch in so they can feel like they won.

The big issue with this "ceasefire" is its never going to be an actual ceasefire it would require getting getting both Isreal and Iran to the table and they both have a blood hatred of eachother and want to see eachother burn. If you got them to the negotiations table it would turn into a screaming match which we've seen before at UN meetings.

A couple of corrections
4. Trump’s deadline goes into effect and Iran shoots another barrage.
That barrage was fired before the deadline, and arrived in Israel after at around 12:30 EST (lol)
9. Israel strikes a minor site and turns its planes around
According to Trump in that CSPAN video we all just saw:
"Israel - as soon as we made the deal, they came out and dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I'd never seen before"

So many being hyperbolic because he was obviously pissed, or maybe they did indeed drop more than they're letting on.

Never heard Trump Drop the F bomb before.

Remember he used to tell the story from Natural Born Killers in 2015? 'Once upon a time, a woman was picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying, she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the snake answered, "Look, bitch, you knew I was a snake."

Nope, I was watching live. That barrage was fired 9 minutes after the deadline. BMs take 5-10 minutes to travel from Iran to Israel, what you're saying is impossible

"Israel - as soon as we made the deal, they came out and dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I'd never seen before"
He's referring to the heavy bombardment of Tehran right before the ceasefire started for the Israelis

Iran already confirmed that they did retard.

now they might break the cease fire(either of the assholes) but that is a separate issue.

Stop seething, it almost sounds like you WANT the war now that drumpf is pulling out

Trump mad

Yeah, I'm thinking:
My theory thus far is that Trump is attempting to maneuver through this the way he did with the other flare-up instances in the M.E. not realizing the above context I've pointed out. Israel isn't going to take 'no' for an answer on this one, Iran is too important and this opportunity too fleeting. Much like with the Oct 7th attacks and using that as an opportunity for the destruction/depopulation of Gaza.
is confirmed by this, he's hoping to get a peace deal/negotiation, sweep all talk of regime change and whatever else under the rug, and get back to not releasing the Epstein files. He's got other shit to deal with and having a foreverwar start within the first eight months of his presidency would be an unthinkable skidmark of the magnitude that he's willing to tell Israel to some extent to fuck off.

Remains to be seen if Israel does or does not have enough leverage to spin this out into the regime change war they want. This makes it seem like they might not but given things have gotten this far already it's a crapshoot.

Edit: Seems like Israel might not give a shit - https://archive.is/nLuCz

"All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly 'Plane Wave' to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!" Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
Trump had earlier accused both Israel and Iran of violating the ceasefire, while expressing particular frustration with Israel which had announced major new strikes on Tehran.
"Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!" Trump wrote on Truth Social shortly after he left the White House for a trip to a NATO summit in The Hague.

According to the Iranians, minutes before the ceasefire they launched 12 missiles in 6 waves, meant to be symbolic?

Either side is going to lie anyway, and the ceasefire allowing Israel 12 hours to drop bombs and preventing Iran from responding might be the the single most jewish parlay I've ever seen but we'll see how it plays out.
