I was a fully convinced doomfag at this point but I keep on forgetting that while Donald might fail hard in some areas he's got like, wildcard stats. This feels like a critical success, makes me feel like this is manufactured with the absolute state of news nowadays, but we will wait and see. But still, props if true. This is the same guy who called Kim Jung Un a fat fuck on his first term and got away with it, so maybe he wasn't lying about the winning.

Buddy Carter, R-Ga., wrote to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, declaring Trump had an "extraordinary and historic role" in having ended "the armed conflict between Israel and Iran and preventing the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the most lethal weapon on the planet."

It seems to be over this specifically. Based on the article though this guy is just a pure Trump dickrider, he introduced a bill to rename Greenland to Red, White and Blueland as well. If this ceasefire does stick Trump deserves some kudos but we have no way of knowing that this soon.

HHH is the same guy who got exposed for crying to the mods and helping get the DJT thread locked because people started messing with him/his ilk the same way he supposedly™ does.

So the fact that people started apologizing and listening to him continues to make this even better.
Even more so all of these people have to either come back here and whine; or go back to the TES thread.

If this ceasefire sticks I don't see how he doesn't deserve it honestly, and I'm not slow to criticize Trump. He's wanted it for a while, and I think all his past claims to it have been tenuous at best, but I don't see how this situation would have de-escalated without Trump's direct involvement and the execution of the strikes. Israel would not have stopped until Iran's nuclear capabilities were crippled, and the only way they could have done that alone would have been long and bloody. Iran would have kept flailing in retaliation and cycling through figureheads as they were killed, whilst continually working on their goal of nuclear warheads. Trump, and the American citizens involved in the operation, have unironically saved thousands of lives as long as neither countries sperg out now.
