Short version: Israel and Iran pop off over nuclear facilities, Israel attacks Iran. Trump drops bunker busters on the nuclear sites to take the threat (and alleged reason for war) off the table. Iran launches some retaliatory missiles, so does Israel. Trump then works to negotiate with Israel and Iran for a ceasefire to end the "12 day war" as he calls it.

Besides even if Congress didn't pass legislation that greatly expanded the military discretion the POTUS can use with no war declaration, Trump negotiating a ceasefire is well within is authority as our lead representative.
I think there are pockets of both liberal and conservative here, going into Genchat you see all kinds of people both pro and anti-trump. I believe the site slants to the right though, even if just slightly, as there is far less pushback against "chuddy" discussion than you'd see if there were a lot more liberals on the site.
