Phil has aged like milk, but honestly I'm surprised he hasn't aged worse than he has. He's got to be living stressed 24/7/365. Never knowing in enough tips will come in to keep afloat one more day. Then you add his moldy house, shit diet, complete lack of exercise and mental stimulation, isolation, and alcoholism it's a surprise his flesh suit is as intact as it is.

This is the only reason I find it difficult to believe he is a hardcore alcoholic. But some people do have the genes that mean alcohol doesn't impact them as much physically. I tend to believe he's just a night boozer and has 4-5 drinks a night and as someone said several pages ago he knows how to mask it and is basically a functional alcoholic - but alcohol obviously still has a very negative impact on his life and emotional state.
