I’ll be honest, I don’t understand this criticism. I already have a place where people will at the very least politely disagree, but more commonly will antagonize me, make accusations and insult me for my political beliefs, it’s called my real life. So I shut my mouth and keep the peace. Now I don’t go bickering with dissenters here because I don’t find it very fun, but is it that strange to want a single place where I can just talk about world events with people I’m roughly on the same page with? I don’t think so.
Based take, South Park has some great episodes but so often Matt and Trey are too clever by half and try and weave social commentary and ripped from the headlines shit into whatever pop culture parody they're doing that episode and it's just a confused mess that doesn't really say anything.
