If globohomo NGOs can't make EC/EP to do their work through ECI, then the entire thing is designed to be useless. Reaching 1 million signatures is barely a start of doing anything; not only you need to force EU bureaucrats to actually look into the issue seriously, but you have to bash their head with it constantly for years, otherwise nothing will be done, and for that you need a big political weight.

So even if Ross had more exposure and a lot of money to finance the entire campaign, it wouldn't be an automatic success. Hell, remember when lootboxes made it in the news, with a lot of politicians commeting on why it's bad for children? As of 2025, nothing is done in EU about it, the entire thing is forgotten.

Still, props to Ross for trying, he is a warrior.
