I don't think Sam would pass this opportunity to put a satisfying ending to the saga that brought him back into the spotlight. As a test of good faith, Sam would have to fuck with him even harder than in the documentary and have the last laugh, and Ian has to take it all on the chin. If Ian endures this, all beef would be squashed and he could kinda start redeeming himself. But of course this is impossible because The Raped is still somehow a prideful little bitch despite no one in life taking him seriously anymore, and he would rather wallow in misery than play on Sam's terms.
