Can we come up with a pejorative for people who only code in the most literal sense, essentially stealing the valor of people who actually know what they're talking about by clacking away on these tiny shitbox spaghetti nightmares? I feel like there's an enormous brood of charlatans in Jason's place who have the cumulative equivalent of an afternoon doing Python courses on W3schools who nevertheless manage to impress the unwashed masses enough to speak authoritatively to them, when all they're really doing is LARPing.

I had the same thought, but I don't think it *quite* fits, unless my working definition is wrong. I always assumed that the nature of a skiddie was using work wholesale that isn't yours, downloading others' tools and using them. People like Jason DO code (sometimes), but they do a very primitive and disgusting version of it. It's less like using a tool someone else has made and more like drawing stick figures in an art form ruled by Renaissance frescoes.

Is like he doesn't know the existence of MMO private servers. The game just need to run, if the community wants to add, change or fix something, they will. There's WoW Private servers where you can play with customs races Ogres, Nigge.. I mean Nagas, Mok'Nathals; servers with new dungeons and a lot more.

Anyone here has played Habbo Hotel? I made my on private servers both the old version (called retro) and those that keep up with the current version (Holos) and this was back in 2011.

A lot of this shit is already figured out, it just happens that corpos want to control you and make money out of you, that's it.
