Usually when I see shitty code, it makes sense though - somebody is in a time crunch and needs to get out a commit for upgrade day. This man took 8 and a half years to produce his monstrosity. I guess the closest thing would be like 80s IBM, who paid out bonuses based on kLOC, but they were being incentivized to write garbage code within a fiscal year. I don't really know if there are words for what this guy has done with his game.

Mald liked to talk about how his SKG video had 70% positive reception or something... Well on Xitter he's not getting near as many likes as the pro-SKG replies. One of the most striking differences is Josh Strife Hayes' reply with over 1100 likes (20k views) and Mald's reply with 80 likes (14k views). He can rationalize this in his head as nested replies get less interaction but even digging down the pro-SKG posts have more likes.


Ross Scott's reply also has more likes than Mald's original post. Mald with 192K views and 1.2k likes vs Ross' 22.5k views and 1.6k likes.


Mald is disingenuous and everything he says is in bad faith.

big twitch streamer, was one of the biggest, switched to Youtube which made headlines way back when. Now he's involved super heavily in nintendo related events like Smash tourneys or the recent "beerio" kart thing where a smash pro got banned because he was harassing women while drunk. He's mostly famous from what I've seen because he knows a lot of people and is as inoffensive as white bread. He goes so out of his way to not rock the boat that when Hasan Piker got mad at him for a video, Ludwig took it down and apologized. He's a pussy.

My point is, Ludwig has enough money to be hosting events regularly and to constantly give out prizes. If his company that Jason is in is hemorrhaging money to the point where Jason has to "work at the legal minimum wage", it's either that Jason is fucking lying and is getting paid a good wage (mind you his "proof" that he's getting minimum wage is a "trust me bro" tweet), or the company is inept and its founder Ludwig is a fucking moron (highly plausible).
