reminds me of when i posted about the petition on other social media, only to be swarmed by boomers going on about how "only snowflakes want their pong games to be protected", along with comments of them thinking "the government and millennials cares more about damn computer games than my gun rights/rights to Jesus", trying to tie it into other rights arguments and make it into a pity party of rights vs rights.
I agree. Though the main reason these people are so popular now is just because youtube's shitty neural network prioritizes slop rather than actually creative content. I remember people always shitting on the tag-based algorithm because "OH NOES PEOPLE ABUSE IT SOMETIMES" but under the tag-based system the site was infinitely fucking better than it is now.
It directly goes against his own interests so he just lies about it. He goes as far as he can and only starts pulling back when there is pushing back, and even then he only pulls back to the point of plausible deniability. His criticism of SKG is entirely malicious and has all the hallmarks of a concern trolling campaign.

just a weird trend ive noticed, a lot of older people in my area (bumfuck of no where) almost view this type of movement like a "threat" like the SKG movement is an enemy towards gun rights/NRA, as ive see so many boomers go on about "i rather keep my guns from big goverment than your sissy pong computer games". Idk why these older people view it like a competition, like only one movement can succeed in pushing rights.
funny you posted that as i posted mine, so ill edit to reply to this, reminds me of when i was talkign to my father, thinking he would support a movement like this since he grew up with old online games like Age of Empires 2 and Diablo 2, and he bitches about trying to get them working on his modern laptop, but he just shut down into just replying 'but my guns are more important" and it was just a complete deadlock, like yeah gun rights are improtant in america, but its like these boomers cant grasp any other rights that dont involve guns or christ is kang shit

And there are other repos that do a bit more including saving deleted messages, but you need the server on client-side, and might be limited to the channel you've opened.
