Looking at how this case is being prosecuted confirms my initial suspicion that these laws would ultimately be used to criminalize behavior that wouldn't even satisfy the "extreme and outrageous" prong of an Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress lawsuit. It seems obvious that these laws and the manner in which they are enforced will, at the very least, be very heavily restricted and diminished by the federal courts/Scotus at some point.

Aaron's attorney, who Aaron was just glazing as one of the top defense attorneys in the area, went out of his way to throw Aaron directly under the bus at the first opportunity by telling the Court, at a hearing to determine if Aaron violated an order, that his client did, in fact, knowingly and deliberately violate the terms of the order.
