I've stopped following melee late last year because most of the top talent either kept acting like two-faced retards or they attended far less tourneys than usual. I think those that attend rarely like Plup are trying to make a quiet exit from this sinking ship.
Nintendo ditched them completely after the panda circuit debacle. Several annual events like summit and smashcon have shuttered. Many top players struggle to find long term sponshorships. Even smash ultimate had many of its top players retire due to its shitty meta. The smash scene might be in its worst spot right now and I just cant bring myself to care.

She is clearly extremely uncomfortable and trying to avoid a confrontation, especially on stream.

Her choices were to play along with it and hope he fucks off or another guy tells him to knock it off or to tell him that he is making her uncomfortable and tell him off herself which would probably lead to her being accused of being "no fun" "overdramatic" and "making a big deal out of nothing" etc. Worse case scenario he becomes aggressive.

Melee fans when a drunkard that did an inappropriate thing while drunk can't stream anymore (they turbo-shat on him and didn't bat an eye when he got kicked off his team and made his income in significantly lower but he's still a popular melee player)

Ludwig fully understood Mang0's problems with alcoholism and still fucking enabled him by inviting him to his Beerio Kart event, supplying him with alcohol and celebrating the fact that Mang0 had a 0.32% blood alcohol content reading live on camera. Mind you, this only 0.08% away from 0.40%, where death is almost certain. 0.30%+ is already within the realm of lethality,

Ludwig or his team should've cut him off immediately. He was also over two times higher than 0.16% BAC, which is generally the region where people blackout.

Watching Ludwig snake the man who made his career make me MATI as hell. He knew the guy had a problem and enabled it, celebrates as his blood alcohol level increased and then throws him under the bus. Ludwig is at the center or adjacent to so much shit on the Internet and is somehow bullet proof. Nothing will happen to him for this but it's all gonna come back to him in the future and when it does his crash out will be glorious. Remember Kiwi Farms, like journalists you can't hate these people enough.

As someone who's met mang0 a few times, I will say that he came off as genuinely funny and not a bad guy. That being said, he's a high school dropout and an alcoholic who built his career off an ancient video game. Unfortunately, the Melee I once knew has become infested with a terminal case of trannies and the GOAT's fate has been sealed for awhile. I'm not going to justify his actions, but what I will say is that everybody around him knew he would behave this way. For fucks sake, the man is called a buster because half the time he was taking shots throughout the tournament until he got sloppy drunk and stomped out by a (more) sober top player. It's one thing to watch Lolcows you're completely detached from like the Ralphamale and Patrick S. Tomlinson get their comeuppance, but it's another feeling altoghether to watch old acquaintances like Hax$ and mang0 go through the ringer. Still not above talking shit tho.
