Zack throws spitballs at a serious gay activist who was working to convince ppl that gays were human when Zack was still in kindergarten. Andrew Sullivan's book "Virtually Normal" was 1st published in 1995-- I saw it long after, during the arguments over Obergefell. It was the best, most sober account of the gay marriage issue that I had seen up to that point. He made it about simple equality and choice, what Americans value. (I think as a Brit, oddly enough, he knew how to push all the "land of the free" buttons.)
He made it clear you do not have to like anybody or approve of them, and reminded us we do not approve of plenty (most? lol) of what people do, but as long as it does not interfere with us or our kids, Americans will tolerate all manner of crackpot religions, idiocy, UFO believers and what all.

He convinced me. I actually liked how he did not seek "approval" but only to have the same legal choice I have. That seemed fair enough.

Zack hating Andrew Sullivan sums up everything wrong with the modern LGBTQ2A3BWTF+ movement and why we hate it.

Andrew is a real gay man, while Zack is a castrated man/drug addict married to a woman, yet thinks he can opine on a movement/community he really has no part of and has never been part of.

Zach's not a pedophile. Despite the kid's not precisely a child, he's happy Heather's younger kid is gone and I'm sure he would have been happier if he'd be gone much earlier. Pedophiles usually want kids to be around them.

But not Zach because he doesn't want to fuck kids: he wants to be the kid. And not due to some specific fetish, but because he's emotionally stuck in his teen years.

Zach, specifically, sees (or rather saw) Heather's sons as an accessory of his fetish and woman cosplay. He could tell people he was a loving mom, not a pervert. He didn't mind their sake, he just needed them there for people to see how good and normal he was. He also needed them so he could larp as a mom, while also parading around dressed like a whore.

Like, remember his Randall Flagg costume. He didn't want to take the kids for candy, he wanted to walk around for people to see his stupid costume. The kids were the excuse. And when we said it wasn't appropriate for a "mom" to be dressed like this for Halloween with a kid, he doubled down and made the costume even more slutty to "own" us. He never cared that he could have embarrassed that kid. Such thought never crossed his mind.

I've definitely seen it before this, even with some different phrasing. Zach didn't come up with this.

Notice that this is how he sees his family and heather's kids. That's why he thinks this can work for other kids (despite this is obviously not working for him and the kid they had to send away like a puppy because he couldn't deal with Zach's shenanigans)

Zach is gay. He enjoys gay sex, as in with another man and a penis. Straight men aren't putting stuff up their ass. He's married to Heather because she financially supports him. In the hypothetical case that they do have sex, he's not into it. He performs his "marital duties", but he wishes it was a man. That's why Penny was there with them.
