That was...actually decent.
Like even the twist was genuinely funny.

The ending was the funniest part not going to lie. Everything else was just...meh.

Give Lyle Rath the credit, not Viv. He wrote this short. Explains the ending too.I'll give viv credit she went with the second most obvious joke instead of the first one
Zach has been in the show. With Mammons first appearance he was background noise of the crowd screaming and when Ozzie tells the people he loves Fizz. You can hear Zach audibly say"I knew it!"Oh shit new writer and it's an Oneyplays guy

Given Cusack voices Mammon and Viv got Lyle, how long till Viv gets Zach Hadel on the show
Anyway the short was pretty funny
Kinda seen the twist coming, but did get a chuckle out of it.

Yeah hopefully he gets something more substantial though than just a background role.Zach has been in the show. With Mammons first appearance he was background noise of the crowd screaming and when Ozzie tells the people he loves Fizz. You can hear Zach audibly say"I knew it!"
If big boss amazon hands HH and HB off to the Oneyplays crew, we might actually get some decent shows.Yeah hopefully he gets something more substantial though than just a background role.
Can't wait for Season 2 to come out and Viv reveals Sera's one of her favorite characters based on her actions and how she can relate to them.I dislike this tall creature. Its smug aura mocks me.

Gotta give credit, I never thought they would actually have IMP kill someone who didn't deserve it (I thought the ending twist would be he's actually some sick pedophile).

Ehhhhh. I didn't think it was funny. Maybe its just me but it would be funnier if Blitzo acted like a child, maybe not refrence other better shows than yours (KotH, Mr. Rodgers, others.) Kind of cheapens the series a bit like you can't creatively make your own thing so you have to steal or refrence others that surpass you by miles.Gotta give credit, I never thought they would actually have IMP kill someone who didn't deserve it (I thought the ending twist would be he's actually some sick pedophile).
She has actually described Angel's brother to sound very similar to Zach and I remember her announcing a few weeks ago that she found his voice actor, time will tell. But now, who should Cory voice?Given Cusack voices Mammon and Viv got Lyle, how long till Viv gets Zach Hadel on the show
All it needed was blitz to mention, "the client says he's the only one who never got adopted either with his help or by him directly. '" come on vivzie didn't you and your theater clique ask "what's my motivation?" All the time in high school drama club? Give us a motivation.Ethan is didn't think it was funny. Maybe its just me but it would be funnier if Blitzo acted like a child, maybe not refrence other better shows than yours (KotH, Mr. Rodgers, others.) Kind of cheapens the series a bit like you can't creatively make your own thing so you have to steal or refrence others. Lore wise this also doesn't make too much sense as they don't even talk about or show the client for us to understand why he has a hit on him (so how can we root for the characters if the guy is pretty much perfect in every way so no grey morality.)
I think its ok, but thats it. Just okay, leaning to lack luster for me personally.
I hope not, I think Oneyplays group shouldn't touch this dog shit with a 80 foot pole. They bring stuff to make the show good, then Viv would just take it like the attention hog she is.Yeah hopefully he gets something more substantial though than just a background role.
It managed to make the fanboys in the Reddit thread cry, so I'll consider it a win.The joke doesn't really work when you keep making the targets utterly harmless. First you got Emberlynn whose crime was writing bad fanfiction and now this dude whose entire shtick is that he's genuinely a nice guy. It just makes you want to see IMP lose really.
I mean the joke works if Helluva Boss stuck to being a dark mean spirited comedy instead of becoming a drama show where we are meant to see these people as good samaritans. The joke doesn't really work when you keep making the targets utterly harmless. First you got Emberlynn whose crime was writing bad fanfiction and now this dude whose entire shtick is that he's genuinely a nice guy. It just makes you want to see IMP lose really.
I'd say the problem is that the Overlords weren't established during the pilot, and the only other antagonist was Sir Pentious, making Alastor look stronger by comparison.Blame fanon. Alastor is pretty much written in response to how people hype him up as this S-tier badass that can one shot anyone, so now his character revolves on how he realizes that he's not the fearmonger he or fans think he is.
It's evil, Charlie!I dislike this tall creature. Its smug aura mocks me.
