What I find amusing is all the liberals who chant about the importance of farms and the importance of fair wages, but abandon these notions when it comes to illegal immigration. You would think they'd talk about expanding farm infrastructure and bailing out farms, but no. They want to keep slave labor.
I pointed this same thing out in the ICE thread

Not the person you were replying to but this sentence interested me. How is someone annoying you showing you they are on your side? Maybe you aren't actually annoyed and enjoy her company and are simply being sarcastic?

Little of both. It's cute in an endearingly annoying sort of way. Women are like that. When they like you and want to fuck you, they want to show you they're into what you're into. They wear your old shirt or pretend they want to go to the range with you or geek out over whatever hobby.

They also naturally need approval for things, so they think they're showing you that support too. Even though, as a man, you give zero fucks if they're into what you're into. That's not their purpose and not how a man thinks. But that's how women think, so they don't exactly get why a man might genuinely find that annoying.

Another way my wife does it is by finding movies or shows we can watch together or she'll try to pretend she's into whatever I'm watching. Then she'll ask a shitload of retarded ass motherfucking questions. It's enraging but I have enough emotional intelligence to know she's just trying to show how bad she wants dick. Which is understandable.

The golden median fallacy is for children
I've always preferred the term "false compromise fallacy" because that's what it is. It's pretending that your suggestion brings up a new point or adds something to the conversation, when it's just agreeing with one of the 2 sides.

To use the classic example, if one side says slavery should be legal and the other says slavery should be illegal, suggesting that you half the amount of slave owners isn't a compromise. It's just you agreeing that slavery should stay legal.

Bailing out farms would be more popular than bailing out huge car makers that can't afford to pay generous pensions to Boomers. We need farms. We don't need shitty, overpriced cars.

I will buy Honda until I die.
A lot of these people just think meme organic homesteads will feed everyone lol.

I love that shit but I am under no delusion it’s enough to feed people unless gardening for food sees a massive resurgence in practice

These people are so fucking stupid they think food just magically appears in the grocery store without the hard work from actual farms and farmers that provide the food. Then they want to kvetch about "climate change", and who gets the main brunt of THAT particular brand of bullshit? Farmers. Just look at what's happening in the UK and Europe.

My state nearly banned all chicken farming that wasn’t factory farming over this bullshit. I would have basically set the limit for chicken ownership to strictly what your household could consume (about a dozen) and anything more then that you have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to comply with regulations

Farmers in bumfuck nowhere have to fix these things themselves or hire people to do it, which is more expensive and time-consuming than hiring illegals to do cheap manual labor.
Aren't most of the farms who hire illegals owned and operated industrially, since those are the only places capable of fucking housing them? I know of literally nothing, anecdotal or data wise, to support that it's grandpa's farm hiring illegals as help.

No many places are fine to just house them and then make them do manual labor with farms tools. It costs nothing to stuff a bunch of migrant laborers in tiny cabins you threw up. If your harvest was mostly mechanized you wouldn’t need the laborers in the first place. It’s not grandpas farms but a lot of these big agri corps make their laborers do it the old fashioned way

I didn't realize the fag leafs not only wanted a digital sales tax, they wanted to retro-date it back to 2022 and then wanted 2 Billion up front immediately from some companies.

You could not be more emblematic of your Jeet corruption than this attempt at a shakedown online, absolute fucking scumbags. Please just bully all canadians.

⭕️Israeli settlers are burning down the Christian town of Taybeh in the West Bank

The village is known for its uniquely all-Christian population.

Cars, lands and home all attacked in a series of violent pogroms aimed at uprooting Palestinian communities.

I get so fucking mad at these retards over the farming shit because my Step Father maintained a small one for years up until he died. I know it was a smaller scale personal farm, but the point still stands. I worked a little bit of it to try and help him out, but holy shit, I am NOT cut out for hard, physical labor. I have the utmost respect for farmers and the work that they do particularly because I tried it, realized I couldn't do it because of my own physical limitations, and now advocate on behalf of them. These folks need all the help they can get, and they deserve your undying loyalty and respect.

Stupid friend of mine watched youtube vids years ago. Decided to become a fine ol' good ol' boy. Moved himself to the country. Bought 20 acres, got some cows, pigs, etc. Tried to farm. I remember him saying, "you put fucking seeds in the ground man, how are you this stupid? how do you not know this?"

Yeah. All the livestock got sick and died and he couldn't grow anything and was too lazy to keep up with the 20 acres. Eventually the bank took it all. I think the youtubers also turned out to be fake asses like always..

Moral of the story, influencers rot your brain and you'll probably fail at even gardening.

Reminds me of how people unironically think that this ⬇️ is capable of feeding an entire family AND a few traditional farm animals

Managed properly with the right soil? It could feed a couple and Mabye a small child. It’s the idea that type of farm is going to feed hundreds of people that’s the delusion.
