I think what he's angling for is that he's technically guilty, but that he should be acquitted because of his (bullshit) claims that the warrant was improperly granted based on the whole "muh watermark" thing. The same shit argument he made to try and get a Franks hearing.

I seriously doubt it's gonna go anywhere. If he even tries it. The judge even told him during the plea hearing that an appeal would be unlikely to prevail.
