I saw this set of images today and they reminded me of his scrungly sillyness. Scrungly jangly friendship. Enjoy

The cat "Mr Monch"es facebook can be found here :)

I am so glad that a special place for cats where we can share our respect for him is being created. He truly was a special and good soul.

Sometimes I wonder what's the point of going on. Surely God understands despair.
Cats would want you to go on. He would want you to find laughter in silly videos, feel the fur of ten thousand cats and puppies and best boy/girl animals, he would want you to eat delicious fooders and most of all he would want me to say this to you. Hes not the type of person that would ever want to push people closer to what was hurting him. We need to look after each other in his wake and listen to each other. I know some days its very bleak, and its really scary in a time of uncertainty, but it is the little things that will light the way in the dark. Keep your soul kind and laugh at the small joy we can cobble together

Everyone I've lost (or shared a thread with here) to suicide has been a man. It's wrong we aren't more sensitive to your needs. Men's Mental Health month was overshadowed by troon nonsense or ignored. As fragile and dainty they pretend to be, our men need and deserve far more attention and care than they usually receive.

I wasn't trying to solicit kindness, and I'm sorry if it sounded that way.

thread tithe, Koius (6-years old, bottle-raised, and spoiled rotten)

Yes, I think He does. He understands despair, as well as regret. We feel like we should have reached out, to let a friend know we're here for them. Maybe that’s the point; to post what we're feeling and help heal this heartache.

True. They act like they don’t need us, but most of the time assume we'll somehow figure it out. The worst part is they can't admit it they need us. We'll just have to be there for them anyway.

Tax: An old stray I used to take care of. She just sort of showed up in my yard one day so I decided to feed her and eventually she came around. She got into a fight with a raccoon that left her partially blind so I decided to take her inside permanently. One day she got very sick and I took her to the vet, only to find out this cat I'd taken care of for around 9 years was actually 19 years old, and not the 10-12 I expected her to be at the time. In spite of this I spent a small fortune treating her regardless and she lived happily for another 6 months before passing away peacefully in her bed. This was one of the last pictures I have of her.

I still think about her sometimes. I wish I had taken more pictures. I wonder what her life was like for those 10 years before we met.
