What's so weird is that Jim has never even be close to extreme. He's made racist jokes but nothing makes me think he actually believes it. I've never thought he believes in Whites enough to even have "race traitor" be something he cares about. As for the vtuber stuff, it's just my opinion but none of it seems like a huge deal. He didn't spend 3 hours discussing the finer points about why loli is based and a-ok. If it's literally just guilt by association that's really gay.

The best way to describe how Jim pisses of people is that he an old school troll. He is a boomer and most likely dying so he cares even less what people think about him.

He clearly has always liked anime to the point of obsession. So when the V-tuber menace showed up and they got the deserved criticism, Jim was going to side with them. I believe it partly for his affinity and mostly for laughs. Every group that he laughed at is almost equally laughed at by the user base of this website. Most people do not enjoy having someone they hold in esteem mocked. It doesn't matter if the mockery is fair or not. When you add the power of the tism this website draws it only compounds the issues.

Null handled the latest Jim question quite well IMO. He added his normal flair of obstinate autism to the V-tuber menace which made it funnier.
