Her favorites aren't just characters she enjoys, they're characters she wants to either BE, or wants to LOVE HER. Probably both.

She wants to do what Sylvanas does and not be confronted with the morality of it, so she makes Anevay, who is adjacent to Sylvanas but doesn't have the full responsibility of her decisions

She wants to be Anakin, the Jedi who fell because of love, but doesn't want to deal with the consequences. So she makes Aliana, the Sith who is empowered by love and convinces a Jedi to be her loving wife/bitch

She wants to be the best Pokémon trainer and she wants her favorite Pokémon to be the best, so she constructs everything around Madhouse to fulfill her fantasy.

She likes Tai and wants to be Tai, but Tai isn't quite enough like her on his own, therefore he must be made trans.

She sees herself in Andrew Graves so the idea that he's just as evil as Leyley is abhorrent.

Characters she likes are, fundamentally, characters she wants to BE. This is a pretty common trait in the self-centered and self-obsessed, the inability to sympathize with someone without assuming "They must be just like me!", and they assume everybody else thinks the same way.

Thus when somebody enjoys a character she doesn't, she assumes it's desire and projection, same as her. You cannot possibly enjoy watching a character without wanting to actually BE that character, and if you try and explain that no, you just think the conflict us compelling, you're lying. Because Lily cannot process people not thinking the way she does.

Not only that but I find it interesting how Lily isn’t doing her usual way of handling critics.

Lily can’t really make fun of physical stuff. Since crispy is skinny and anything else will point to him being Asian so “White man” rhetoric won’t work so well.

Crispy is definitely not straight so Lily can’t say anything lest she be defined as queer phobic.

Huh I find it funny how Lily has Series for KH and Baldur’s Gate but the list is padded out mostly by Nomnami games.

Again this just shows that even when she tries to say “I’ve played a lot of different games” she still proves her limited media diet.

And there’s nothing inherently wrong with having a series pad out your favorites list if you’re a fan… but at least try to show you dabble in different genres than just… Disney game, baby game, surprise edgy game, and cozy visual novel.
