Tattoos make 9 out of 10 people who get them look uglier. For 9 out of 10 people, they are basically a self label that you're unintelligent. - tats signal the degradation of society.

The vast majority of people who get tats look uglier for it. Especially women and especially hot women. A hot woman with a tat is 9/10 times like graffiti on a rembrandt. Whenever I see it I just get so sad that something/someone so beautiful defaced themselves and on top of that they don't realize it.

What really makes it much worse is most people who get tats don't take any care that it integrates artistically with their body or with the rest of the tats that they already have. There has not only been an explosion in the popularity of tasteless random tats there has been an explosion of getting multiple random tats which make people look especially weird.

Don't care that you got it for your beloved nana or whatever. Your nana is probably cringing that you put so little effort into remembering her.

9/10 times the act of getting a tat exposes a person as a not too bright consoomerist follower who just jumps on to cultural bandwagons without putting much thought into the wisdom of graffitiing up their body. Thus the rising popularity of tats point to the general degradation of our society.

Admittedly there are good tats and good reasons to get tats. Ie maybe there is some exotic truly beautiful pattern with actual cultural significance that integrates well with your particular bodytype and you can get a real master who does it properly and you don't ruin it with other clashing tats later on. Or for some reason you need to remember someone a certain way with a nice discreet tasteful mark. And there are some people who can pull off a tat in a way that improves their appearance but this type of person and the compatible tats are much rarer than people want to admit.

I kinda agree!

The choice of injecting a substance (risking your health) for a visual aesthetic is a low IQ move, a choice only shallow people would make, and calling them "people" is a very generous thing to do. Even people who do tattoos as a memorial of something, "as a reminder" is enough to tell that these people are not worth memorizing. If you need a tattoo to "remember something", odds are they were not important enough for a tattoo, making tattoos even dumber.

Additionally, there is also something very cucked with being a walking sketchboard of someone else's art on your skin, being a walking meat canvas. Most tattoos are just some shit picked from a tattoo "artists" scribble book at the salon, as it's like getting a fucking hair cut! People with tattoos have the same social status as a marked cow in a slaughterhouse, they are a cattle and should be treated as such. Tattoos are a sign of being submissive and low status, which I guess makes sense with whores, wagies and soldiers having them. I think the worst tattoos that exists are media related ones (movie, music and game related), people treating it like it's a piece of merch to be a walking advertisement for goyslop media.

Tattoos are a great way to index shitty people.

That's where I disagree (in most cases). Most of these "cultural" tattoos are either fake or revisionism to promote tattoos as some kind of a pseudo-intellectual thing. Just like people pushed promiscuity and degenerate behaviour as being something "muh people were always like this". Like pornography is pushed as "art".

tats look awful on most people and especially on women.
most importantly i wish people would stop pretending that getting tattoos is a "hobby". tatting someone else maybe, but getting tatted its about as much a hobby as smoking meth is an artform. being this obsessed with doing random shit to your body to make your dad mad isnt a hobby, its a mental illness

To me tattoos on women signal that kind of faux pro-system rebelliousness. I don't want to spend time with someone like that, much less enter a relationship with them. I don't enjoy spending time with people who won't let me let my guard down, always prepared to fight, make inappropriate "jokes" at my expense or to start drama-queening. And yes, that has largely been my experience with tattooed girls.

With men, it's mostly just shallow consumerism, though for druggies the more annoying variant of pretend-spirituality often applies.

This might need to be taken down, because its so out of left field, it could be considered a war crime. You should think about keeping this very controversial opinion to yourself, or at least to the catboys in the groypers.

There's a few tattoos that I have always wanted, but there's just something about tattoos. Most people I know who have them cant even explain why they got them.

Like at one point I wanted to get the skynet logo because I like the concept of the movie and how the future is headed that way.....but it's from a damn movie, Aka not real.

Then there was the idea of a 7 star dragon ball, and I love DBZ. Then again, I could just buy a dbz themed shirt.

The closest thing I would consider getting is tattos of my cats, and thats crazy on its own.

Stunning and brave. How can you say something so controversial with such passion and conviction?

I put my opinions through the Moistcritikal test before I share them. If its something Charlie publicly does or supports then its usually a waste of time to talk about it and I'd be a hipster if I did because its something the normiest normies and mainline mainstream society are aware about and support. If not than its worth talking about since even if some subgroups are well aware of the discussion or argument other large segments of the population are not aware or not well informed. Charlie has tats so obviously society needs some more education on this matter.

I cannot imagine letting another man determine my opinions on something, let alone the most milquetoast nontent creator on the Internet. Absolutely wild.

Tattoos have been around for literally thousands of years, and this debate has been around for thousands of years. There are at least a half dozen threads on this very site dedicated to expressing the exact same opinion. I have no idea what yet another thread on "tattoos bad, normies bad, I am trad and based" adds. It is truly fucking wild how much of a broken record some people are.

I was half joking but no...read the post. It doesn't say he determines my opinions.

Well I did a quick check before I posted and I didn't find any thread let alone half a dozen of them on this specific topic. There is one about examples of bad tattoos and some mentions about bad tattoos scattered in other threads. If you remember where these half dozen super obvious super recent threads specifically on how tats in general are bad are let me know. Sorry I don't crawl through the entire archive to make sure..

I feel the same about excessive piercings too.

But at the end of the day, it's not my fucking body - do what you want, just dont be upset when they look like shit at age 60 and I'm laughing at them. I won't not a date a girl because she has tats or excessive piercings but don't actively seek them out either
