I definitely have. I watched the WSOP Main Event where Jamie Gold won $12,000,000, and he's a literal godawful shit player who of course never repeated anything like it again.

A player like BMJ is going to win big and lose big but mostly lose.

If Bossman was born 10 years earlier he would have been just in time for the poker boom. Anyone who was around then would know how absolutely retarded so many players were. You could print money by playing a simple tight game just because there were so many retards playing like monkeys. The only important thing was to keep from tilting because of the insane shit players would do. Bossman would absolutely have been one of them. You can still find some of the fish at brick and mortar poker rooms in some markets, but even then most of the idiots have been busted and poker has been out of fashion for long enough that there is little fresh blood.

BMJ would have been one of those monkeys though. I started on Party Poker and hadn't even ever played hold'em before but could make $50 an hour playing $25 tables with a bonus running. It was free money with absolute clowns just throwing money at you.

The 2+2 forum is filled with old threads of Bossman-level retards who were convinced they were the masters of poker, constantly being told they were retards, but somehow still winning big and gloating about it. EV always caught up with them in the end and you’d never hear from them again. It’s a shame the poker boom didn’t line up with Kiwi Farms, because there were some real lolcows in that community back then.
