It really sucks that all the Frank Hassle type people that would be motivated to go around kandiyohi asking about the Rekietas are all firmly in Nicks corner, I very much doubt anyone on KF is that motivated, petty or tactful enough to do such an investigation.
There's also a far bigger stigma on cowtouching (as there should be) that makes talking to locals seem a little too close to direct involvement for a lot of Kiwis

Edit: typo

In the above clip, Meme is also agreeing that he doesn't think the RO prohibits Nick simple mentioning Aaron.

I understand some people here don't want to hear that, but he's most likely right.

I think most people would agree but Nick continuing to @ Aaron and making rant videos responding to things Aaron said going YOU YOU YOU are still likely violations.

But its only a matter of time until Nick gets high and just directly harasses Aaron or publically demands someone else do it.

If appearing at people trials or court on Nulls behalf doesn't count as tipping, then asking vague questions around town doesn't either, in fact it would be far less direct, since no-one would be going near Nick or his family. Besides, I'm not encouraging people to do it, just lamenting that the people that would usually do that kind of thing (whilst we watch) are all Nicks allies.

Aaron mentions Nick leaving a bullet of coke next to Aaron's child. Nick snaps, "I don;t leave drugs next to kids."
Reminder: This directly contradicts the story he braggadociously told the NLO weirdos about stashing a cocaine bullet in the car with his minor daughter in the backseat, so the
cop wouldn't find it in a pat down.

But the bigger issue, of course, is he seems to also leave drugs INSIDE his kids.

I disagree, going to the courthouse and taking notes on footage or a trial is a fairly passive interaction, you literally only have to engage with the single court clerk. Asking locals questions, prying into local gossip is very direct and in smallish towns will stir up trouble (I grew up in a 12k pop town, trust my power level here lol)

Oh I know, I don't think you are (nor was I trying to accuse you of it. My B if it came off that way) I was just explaining why there's far fewer kiwis onboard to do as such.

This is another thing that baffles me, why does Nick still hang with Melton? (Aside from the pedo shit)

When he isn’t with Melton, he mostly pretty guarded about everything that went on. But in Melton’s presence he starts blabbing and sharing way more than he would usually.

Surely he has the self-awareness to recognize that this is the absolute wrong person to hang around if you want to maintain your defenses, right?

How many people even remotely close to friends doing you think Nick has left?

See also: DSP and PPP/etc.

Nick is desperate for approval and validation from one of the few social contacts he has left. It doesnt matter that he's being used.

He's that weird kid in school desperate for any kind of attention.

I very much doubt anyone on KF is that motivated, tactful or petty enough to do such an investigation - it would involve spending hours, maybe even days trawling around the place posing as a journalist writing a piece about influential people in the area.
The majority of us are 'normal' people. I'd love to go to one of the hearings and see Lord Balldo in person but I have a job and a family. Unlike Nick I don't fancy the idea of being an embarrassment to my children. I'm sure a lot of us feel the same.

"Kiwifag incel prudes lose again! It wasn't next to her, it was in front of her!" :really:

Someone willing to listen to Nick bitch about his ex boyfriend is a rare resource.

With the new restraining order he can't even bitch to Melton about his ex boyfriend so I'm sure fun will ensue.

Nick hates Aaron, and Melton is the main anchor point for most of the online Aaron hate. There's a reason for it as it pertains to Nick's immense hatred of Aaron (not a good one, mind you, but one nonethless).

But you're right that it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense outside of that. Other than the fact he's just that friendless now.

The story he told them about being pulled over during the raid had absolutely nothing to do with Aaron. That was Nick trying to flex ("tee hee, I got one over on the dumb cop"), when all it really does is further confirm he's guilty as sin and prone to putting his children in danger.

I'd like to think they were inwardly disgusted by what Nick was saying, but I don't put any faith in Melton or his cadre of degenerates caring about child safety.

His ego requires external validation, who better to justify his behaviour towards Aaron than Aaron's most deranged stalker?

My theory is the people in Nick's / the Rekieta's social circles know about them, but even in a town like Wilmar, they're just the stinky weirdos who drop in to Target way too often.
My experience has been that the larger the family, the greater the community exposure that family has. As the kids get older, they have more activities that take them into the community. They form friends outside of the family group and spend "overnights" with their buddies.
Even those families who try to insulate their childrens social and community mingling by homeschooling or homechurching. it is inevitable that gossip and rumours are exchanged, especially in 2025. It is not as typical in present day to see a family with 5 kids as it was 50 years ago. Just the size of the family draws attention.

Just for completeness, here is the official bio for Senior Judge Ellen Maas who granted Aaron's petition. She actually retired from full-time judging in 2023 after 28 years on the bench. She picked up a temporary appointment as a Senior Judge in 2023. That appointment expired yesterday.

She is/was a well-respected judge in Anoka and Washington counties.
