Another day, another reality competition!

We have contests for drag artists (queens, kings, and things), gogo dancers, bakers, and everything else. So why not something for the gooners and bators? Yes, this May, for Masturbation Month, we have season four of The Great BateWorld BateOff competition.

“It's a really fun, friendly, little competition show,” Colby Jaxx, BateOff season two winner and current show host, tells Them. “It is a masturbation competition show where six different entertainers, performers, [and] masturbators perform five different challenges and it's up to the people of BateWorld to rank the challengers of who their favorite performance is.”

Seems simple enough. The competition builds on gooning and solo content creation’s growing popularity, which skyrocketed thanks to the dual forces of OnlyFans and the pandemic over the last five years. And the prize: the title of MASTER Bator 2025 and all the friends we made along the way. The competition boasts no eliminations (good vibes only à la RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars season 9) and challenges that vary season to season — in the past there’s been “self-milking” and “toy technique” amongst others.

This year’s competition is already underway, with competitors like Ricky Rik, Parker Woods and Kae Ecstatic all participating in the Hands-Free challenge. Below, we spoke to Jaxxx about what to expect from the competition and the difference between gooning and bating.

What would you say was one of the more difficult or interesting challenges in BateOff?

The Hands-Free Challenge is always very difficult. I performed that challenge back on season two when I was competing and I'm like, "How am I going to have an orgasm hands-free?" But you kind of figure it out.

This year, running through the different challenges, I think the Mirror Bate [incorporating a mirror in an interesting way] is always a tricky one too. “How am I going to position the camera or shoot at this angle or edit this together so it's cohesive?” That one's more challenging on the technical side.

Is it the same challenges each year?

Every year it's different. This year there's a post-workout play challenge, which I'm personally really excited about because I'm kind of a gym bro, so I have some of my best bate sessions after a good workout, getting the testosterone pumping. I think that one's going to be really hot.

Also, the Mirror Bate Challenge for this year, it's kind of like a hybrid challenge. It's a get-verbal-with-yourself challenge as well, which is brand new. I'm really excited for the Dirty Talk. I'm a big fan of dirty talk and getting verbal.

Is the competition sexuality agnostic or is it a lot of solosexuals or queer people?

So it varies. It's very diverse. Everybody has a different background going into it. I identify as a side. I know past competitors have identified as trans or solosexual. It's just an array of masturbators.

What would you say is the difference between gooning and masturbation?

I can't speak for everyone because I feel like gooning is such a personalized experience. But, for me, I reach that gooning state after very long edging sessions. I feel like you see a shift in the person, at least for me. There's almost like a barrier that comes down. You can see that and they just let go. You can kind of see that in their eyes and their facial expressions because you can start a video super serious and then eventually you just kind of ease into it.

Like, I'm really feeling myself. I'm feeling my body right now. My penis feels amazing. It's blissful. And you just kind of have that feeling take over and you just start vibing with it and you can just see it. The eyes start rolling and the moans come out when dudes get super gooned. It's drooling, tongue out, eyes crossed. Those are some of the attributes I see with gooning hitting that perfect goon state.

What about the audience? Is it growing every year?

Oh, yeah! The community of the BateOff is growing every year. I am kind of predicting this is going to be our biggest season yet, which I'm very excited for. It's reaching more people. We have content creators with a larger following this year, so it's kind of reaching more people and getting more popularized and it's great. And I see a lot of the original commenters are back this year and I get a lot of messages saying, "Oh my God, I'm so excited for this year. I've been watching since the beginning." And I just think that's so amazing. There's regulars that are tuning in. That's what you want. That's awesome.

What? What is happening? How do I escape?

Edit: a side is apparently a gay who isn’t a top or a bottom. Article (will make you want to die).

This just feels like a shitpost generated by AI and I'm going to choose to believe it is.

Why do Gay Men even need porn? They can just go to a truckstop and get some AIDS sex.

Ewwwww, boys are gross

Silence, foid :smug: I agree with you tho

At some point, western society abandoned shame. We really need go back to whatever field it's rusting in and tow it back to the shop for badly needed repairs.
We didn't abandon shame, exactly. Instead, we empowered and rewarded with public attention those without shame. The Cluster B disordered. The raving mentally ill. The frantically fapping degenerate, too horny to consider anything beyond the next sad orgasm. And all of this led to where we are now, with normies imitating the freaks they watch on TV and online.

If we're going to turn things around, we need to stop giving people like the Kardashians any attention beyond ridicule. Kiwifarms is doing its part :semperfidelis:
