How many delusional canadians are in this topic Jesus Christ? Enough that a dozen people think this is wrong? "No bro canada is actually totally really expensive"
More than half the US has crackheads on every street (and where they are it's every couple feet). Except they have guns.
You think Canada is expensive compared to the US? And the (shittier) part of Canada? Bruh lol it's expensive because of the shitty fucking dollar so they're already 5 steps ahead (especially if they can buy a home something most canadians can't do). All they need is $50USD to last for 9 years at the minimum
Want to do some math retard? The johmas give enough reason to hate them and crumble their lives without lying and being delusional
Average rent in Edmonton for a 1 bedroom: $1300CAD
2 bedroom: $1650 CAD
Seattle 1 bedroom: $2100USD ($2900CAD)
2 bedroom: $3000USD ($4100CAD)
Average house price in Edmonton (condo) $210k
Detached home: $596k
Median price for all types sold: $465k
Condo in Seattle: 628k ($857K CAD)
Median in Seattle? $885k (1.28 Million CAD)
Johma house? Purchased for over a million
Both their "jobs" are remote and not being transferred into a shitty Canadian equivalent with an equivalent huge salary loss. They could take a 30% or more loss on their house and still buy LITERALLY 10 condos in Edmonton and own a block which would be enough to get all those really scary canadian crackheads out of the way. They have a car. Again, nothing in Canada is expensive compared to the US. The dollar is shit and and nearly everything priced in the country is dependent on the whim of the US. This is completely irrelevant for someone coming into the country in a better position than the majority of the country (look up Gen z and lower home ownership numbers anywhere in Canada).
Unless they both suddenly decide they want to work at Walmart in which case they'll have to fight off literally thousands of indians wrapped around the block for applications, it's completely meaningless. Even if they're actively severely bleeding funds right now, they'll get AT LEAST another decade of cruising by being in canada.
