That's not what I see in real life. Most Millennials I've known either got a home with the help of their parents, got a home because their parents died and left it to them, or they still live with said parents.

It's to the point where women are now having a hard time luring them off the tube and into a relationship, because the latter come with so many strings attached, men simply stopped caring. An anime waifu is basically just a figment of your brain that you can fall in love with and shape to your heart's desire, whereas a relationship with a real woman leads to hardships, compromises, and emotional baggage, so men stopped trying.
Both can be correct. Social interaction is mostly gone with zoomers due to atomization and afraid of any backlash. We can see this in dating culture or fewer people having friends in general.
