Today I have... Thread.

I had lunch at chick fil a before I went to school.

At college I watched the guys in the gameing room play dark souls at once. We have 3 tvs in the gaming room and all of them had dark souls.

After that my programing professor offered to pay me if i design him a new logo for his company that he want to start

Neat day

My day has been as follows:

Just hit 61/2 years sober Saturday, so yay me.
Found out my shoulder replacement is doing pretty well, considering how long I have had it, which is awesome. No need for a shoulder replacement replacement (that makes me laugh)

Taking care of an ill relative, took her to the doctor and she is doing pretty damn good for a 90 year old after a major surgery.

Kids are getting good grades.... ish. My teenage daughter is moody as hell, but that is pretty par for the course. My preteen son is doing great, wish he would stop cussing out other players on Overwatch, tho.

So. Basically, today I have had a pretty normal day. For me.

Today I tidied the house after my friend who was visiting last night left.

I ran into some pure, undiluted :autism: on my way home from work.

I had a hard day at work, busted my ass trying to finish shipment and rearrange accessories to fit the new stuff, and process the new shipment, and I got told to give up my day off (I was "asked" but it's never really asking) to go help out at another store again. Since I'm exhausted and I have nothing in my house but cereal, I stopped to get takeout.

The guy ringing me out was your stereotypical weeb, maybe a bit more hygienic. He got all excited when he saw my Sailor Pluto lanyard I wear at work and told me he can play the Sailor Moon theme song on his ocarina. And, as if that wasn't enough, he asked if I watch Steven Universe. When I said no, he recommended that I look up "Here Comes a Thought" because he thought I would really like it.

I felt really bad, because I didn't want to be mean to this guy, especially when he was just excited to find someone else with a mutual interest. But since I was tired and hungry I probably came off as a little dismissive... Also, the whole thing was almost physically painful. Like, I was trying so hard to not let my face cringe that my body started to instead.

i'm now done with refinishing the wood stock to my mosin nagant. i like how it came out, probably gonna get the metal blued as well.

Today I learned I have shingles. For some reason I always thought of it as something old, gray haired people got, not somebody in their early 30's. I think because the only person I knew who's had it was my grandpa.

It sucks btw.

today I've been swearing non-stop at some cartilage samples, because the pathology lab over-fixed them and now they're basically useless for my experiment I'm running.

sonofabitch.

Today there was alot of drama at work.
Someone got shot RIGHT around the corner from my job and they fled to the strip mall where my store is at for help. Police was there nearly all day and was questioning some of my co workers. They was also trying to see if the shooter was still around. I was on edge all day at work because of this.

I wanna move from this shit city.

On a lighter note I also got paid today and brought supplies to make a cake for my little sister'a birthday party Saturday

Today I have doubleposted in this thread.

I decided at 10.00 that my man cave needed organizing because my Oculus Rift came and I need space to play with it. This seemed like a "good idea". It wasn't....

Butted heads with a coworker who likes to blame their fuck-ups on me because I'm new to the whole game. *sigh*

This coworker also seems to be convinced that my life is lonely without kids or someone I actively cheat on or try to make jealous.

They have- I shit you not- close to thirteen kids scattered across the map.
-All while not paying child support and getting food stamps.

The last of my VR gear came so I made my wife aware that from now on she needs to feed me through a straw so I can play Assetto Corsa without removing my Rift. I can't see what's unreasonable about this but she's proper riled up. Women.

Well, I dusted off my electric cello, to discover that I'll have to restring it, which I can't be arsed to do right now.

Instead, I'm going to carry on melting down the motorbike frame I've been cutting apart in my garage. Ingots are a shit load easier to store than a whole bike frame, I tell you.

What particular metal are you stocking up on and why?

Aluminium, and I'm learning Sandcasting. It's another means of production that I intend to offer through my company once I've gotten the hang of it. I do small-scale prototyping and design work, and have only just started striking out on my own, so wanted to try and at least get a feel for some new techniques that should aid me with some upcoming jobs.
