Today I have... Thread.

Today I have to get my '00 Camry taken into the shop for the second time in the past 6 months. First time was to get a bunch of shit fixed (busted head gasket, two broken engine mounts, new brakes and pads, etc.), and this time is to get the cooling system checked out. Stupid thing started overheating at idle and at low speeds a week and a half ago and I'm sick of bumming rides from other people.

This car is going to give me a fucking aneurysm.
 
A friend offered to get me an interview where he works, but it's a call center and sounds awful. On the bright side, I found out that I will be flying back up to DC at some point in April or May, which is always fun.
 
Nothing that's anywhere near as altruistic as Ntwadumela's efforts: I've been sodding around with NodeMCU development boards, because they're (almost) everything that Arduino should have been. Hoping to get this project working, because it'll be a nice earner for me. #capitalist4lyfe

Today I walked 15km(9 miles) home from school. I always take a bus, but not today, just felt like walking what seemed like an eternity(my legs are having a bad time). Wrote a letter to a friend in São Paulo, did a bit of fruitless research on Bay Area living expenses, sad bc it's expensive. But one day, who knows(optimistic button)?
Now trying to learn computer science.

Just laughed awkwardly at a co-worker after they told me they had a crush on me in highschool and lamented being single in the same breath.

Felt like a dick, but at the same time "ಠ_ಠ" is a permanent setting for me when it comes to that shit.

Had a flurry of interviews over the past 2 weeks. I have two more this coming week. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out of part-time hell.

Drove past a solid black van, that had no windows on the side, in the middle of nowhere while driving my unlicensed niece back from work. I joked to her about the g men and men in black, she had no idea what either were and got freaked out.

Saw my sister and niece off on the train then went home and did some washing/cleaning.
 
Went to work at an unfamiliar store and tried to straighten everything but the place was a fucking wreck and nobody helped me beyond talking to customers once in a while.

The highlight of my day was getting Thai food for the first time. There was a place in the mall food court and I felt like getting something different. It would probably be better at some takeout place, but for shitty mall food it was pretty good.

Technically this was yesterday, but I decided to blow most of my tax return on a gaming laptop. It's nice to have a computer again.
 
Got a parcel from a company I complained to. There was a problem with a bag of sweets I bought (I found something in one sweet that looked like a piece of plastic) so I wrote to the company that makes them, and got a parcel full of sweets back today.
 
Got my manager nagging at me for not doing my job because I was figuring out why Office was acting up on some computers and watching over a colleague who had an asthma fit.

I'm the designated tech guy AND the designated first aider.
