It was popular everywhere. Until the '90s when everyone settled on Ulysses, it was at the top of every "Greatest Novels of the 20th Century" list.

He's very, very under-characterized, partly so you can "self-insert" as him, if that's the way you read things. But ideally you don't "identify with" anybody in the story, and it's made so you almost can't.

Anime themed tea merchant and media critic/analyzer The Dragon's Treasure is currently streaming in defense of Saba. Really not surprising, but disappointing. I originally stumbled onto him during weeb wars via Rackets. Rekeita boosted him, then I eventually forgot about him after a while, then he denounced Rackets last year and now he's defending lolishit.

Something i never seem to understood Is why do these supposed white supremacists suddenly care so much when their precious Japan Is being attacked.

It's kinda weird for example, they should say that western culture Is better Yet when it's Japan they suddenly say that eastern culture Is so much better and that americans do not know how to Make art.
It's like they abandon their beliefs for a non white country that they like, like dude you are a western supremacist and Yet you are saying a non white country Is better than yours.

The moment I started seeing teenagers wear those fucking hoodies made out of ahegao panels I knew the anime community was lost forever. It's an uphill battle to try to reclaim it from the coomers and pedophiles, and I'm just not interested in putting my time to it.
