You think the county is just gonna go ahead and turn a blind eye on 5 kids because they're annoyed with rekieta? If something happens and your idea is accurate Kayla or Nicks family can easily go back and sue if the po was proven to be "completely checked out". It's a huge liability risk. The thing about being on probation is they give you enough rope to hang yourself with if you choose to. They don't just drug test you twice a week and show up in the middle of the night or anything like that, and it's a marathon not a sprint, he's got plenty of time to fuck up in an actionable way and actually get caught for it
Considering how he's been behaving, I don't think Nick will even be alive in 5 years. Between the drugs, abusive behavior towards women and how much of an emotional wreck he is, I think Nick will either kill himself or get himself killed. I just hope he doesn't take any of his family with him, but considering his 9 year old tested positive I don't think he really cares about them enough to feel empathy.
This might be why they're apparently hands-off thus far. Like @woodedbag said, give him enough rope to hang himself. She lives in fucking Canada and it cost like $2,000 American dollars. It doesn’t even cost that much to paint.
