Agreed 100%. Also NIH research grants help us stay ahead of the world in medical research and will possibly fuck us down the line as the world leader in that. China will be happy to capitalize on that I am sure
Yeah man! We gotta spend money in order to be the worlds powerhouse in gender transition studies!

And don’t forget those gain of function trials! I hear the NIH funded some of those in Wuhan, did anything ever come out of that?

I'm disgusted he's trying to open up diplomacy with the former ISIS faggot in syria.
Trump was diplomatic with AQ, Palestine, Iran, ect. ISIS might be full of retards, but if there's any way to alleviate their bullshit without Obama-sanctioned mass murder and nation-state collapse then he'll take it. I for one would kill them all, but from a international policy and politicking decision I can understand why he'd do it. From pure historical experience the 'we won't negotiate with terrorists' angle has shown to not be sustainable nor effective, even when you just go full warcrime. Trump at least is able to get islamic leaders, often self interested and marginally less retarded, to force their dumbass AK wielding hooligans in line.

We all agree that Trump pulling out of Israel's bullshit would help, but with so much political capital in the middle east it's next to impossible. There's no stopping support for Israel, so the best anyone can do is mitigate the bullshit with precision instead of mass murder. Unfortunately, the Pro-Palestine response has startled a lot of people who are now willing to ignore Israel's bullshit since the terrorist simping is both A: in their faces, and B: annoying and dangerous.

A lot of how the country operates is rooted in implicit directives and implied deterrence. Sure, there's nothing that explicitly states the king can't do something, but I think everybody knows that if the monarch tried to something without already being given the go ahead by government, they'd depose the monarchy.
Retard thought experiment, you do not need to tell me this won't happen, because I'm aware that it won't, it's just fun to speculate.

BUT

Prince William has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever. It would take him about 6-8 years to accomplish. Power is an illusion built on perceptions. Currently, everybody hates the government. They hate Labour, and they hate the Tories. But they like William and Kate. Their public image is sterling. He could spend the next 6-8 years doing everything he can, shrewdly, to make people love him more, from carefully crafted public appearances, from making speeches designed to stir the passions of patriotic Englishmen, to outright charity. In particular, he should throw himself into making himself the Army's favorite man in the world.

When the time is right, when his popularity is sky-high, when you've got not infrequent op-eds musing about how nice it would be to have a real king, when Parliament once again completely fucks up in some embarrassing crisis, then he could strike, exercise one of those never-used powers, right at the moment where the government wouldn't dare to dissolve the monarchy because they know whose side the Army and the people are on.

It would be really funny. But it would never happen.

I am fine with them going to therapy or whatever, but they shouldn't get irreversible surgery.

Now your turn to tell me something you don't like that Dear Leader is doing (like tax cuts for billionaires would work)
I don't like his stance on H1-B visas.
The system is totally abused, and Trump has, for the most part, seen little reason to fix it.
Massive corporations use this loophole to essentially hire slaves for lower wages than Americans to lower maintenance costs. Your company fires you, they put up ghost job listings with impossible requirements to fill your old position so they can claim there were no qualified American applicants, and then apply for an H1-B for the man with 4 PHDs and 15 years of experience in blockchain AI (who will conveniently work for only $50,000 and doesn't require health insurance). Now you apply thousands of places, hoping to get a good job. But, they're all being rejected because the companies never intended to hire anyone in the first place; it was all an automated rejection process so they could get cheaper H1-Bs processed. There are hundreds of thousands of good paying jobs that Americans want to do, but are completely blacklisted from in the job market because the system benefits screwing over hardworking Americans by importing their competitors.

Or, ya know, curing cancer and other diseases. I guess you just want China to overtake America like a good little simpleton. Nothing Dear Leader does could upset you, he is perfection in your eyes.

Part of the issue is that our education system just isn't producing enough quality candidates and with the guts to education done by Trump and others before him, that isn't going to change anytime soon

The coping and seething is only beginning. I wonder what Republican leaders are desperately promising Republican hold outs behind closed doors to get them to change their votes?

I'm willing to bet they could promise them the world and they still wouldn't budge given that Republicans have constantly broken their promises to the freedom caucus. My prediction is that this is going back to the Senate for further review and changes.

Trust me when I tell you that China is not overtaking anyone in medical research any time soon. Believe it or not, India has better medical research infrastructure than China.

Ok, Europe or China. Either way, it's shitty.

I also have no idea why you guys want BBB to pass so badly. It's going to fuck you and everyone else who isn't rich. It's also an ultra-cringe name
