Such as?GDPR also prevents companies from collecting potentially useful usage statistics.
This guy has no idea what he is talking about. WoW private servers are built on server cores that are built entirely from scratch by reverse-engineering, there is no code from Blizzard. What is he even talking about when he says "require handing over copyrighted code"? All they are doing is using the game binaries and network analysis of live servers, no Blizard code needed at all. There are no laws against building a WoW private server by reverse-engineering the game for that matter.
I never said to remove it.Gnome STAYS!
WTF, I FUCKING LOVE BEING DATA MINED! MICROSOFT SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF YOUR DESKTOP AS LONG AS IT'S USEFUL!GDPR also prevents companies from collecting potentially useful usage statistics from their userbase.
Grab their discord ID at the same time please, especially if they admit to spoofing signaturesEnjoy

Highlight of my day so far.
He's just stating the facts of the matter. I didn't take his reaction as pessimistic at all, just telling people to err on the side of caution, which comes across as more humble imo.
He should be realistic, that I have no issue with. But the way you communicate things is important. If someone who leads an initiative is sending too many "we probably won't make it guys" messages, then why should I even bother trying to chip in? I am asking a theoretical question. I signed the petition, I got some friends to sign, too. But communication matters. It's probably why the initiative was doing so poorly until universal hatred for Mald helped the ball roll to the finish line.the man has been thinking this initiative was DOA for nearly a year at this point so I understand his skepticism on this actually happening. plus I think if he was like "we did it guys, but I need more signatures" rather than being realistic people will just rest on their loreals.
I do agree he should probably hand it off to some other more European youtubers after a while, still be involved but let someone closer offhand some responsibilities. to take some stress off
Incorrect.GDPR also prevents companies from collecting potentially useful usage statistics from their userbase.
So they're laying people off. No shit. It’s a bloodbath, with tens of thousands of jobs getting cut as the whole industry gets rocked. They are getting hammered by high costs and a slow switch to EVs. But blaming this on regulation is missing the point. They are firing people to survive a massive shift because building electric cars is a different game, and they're trying to stop from being wiped out by Chinese competition. There are literal layoffs where they are getting rid of 100k+ people in the car industry. Companies make a profit because they are firing insane amounts of people not because they are actually doing so well.
Also lmao at e-waste. I don't give a shit about that green meme bullshit.
Apple still sells their own charging cables. If you think such a small thing like a charging cable (a 20 euro purchase) needs government intervention then I wonder what you think doesn't?
1: private WoW servers are written from the ground up, rather than implementing any code from blizzshartEnjoy

Apparently, the best he can do is cope and seethe and a puzzle piece.I'm going to need a 40,000 word seethe post on my desk by 8 am Monday.
Get to it!
