Mersh showed up on Pat Dixon’s stream last night and I heard the last 30 minutes or so while multitasking. Mersh brings up Kiwi Farms a LOT. They reminisced about Ralph’s first bowling tournament and talked a lot of shit about Aaron Imholte and Chad Zumock while saying Rekieta didn’t do anything wrong and praising Melton. Mersh also talked a lot about how he “came up” in comedy and on the internet. Mersh said had his own computer and unrestricted internet from the time he was a kid. I don’t know if they talked about his multiple strokes or alcoholism (Pat claims he’s been off the sauce for 20 years) before I tuned in. I just started listening from the beginning and they immediately start talking about the wreckage Mersh caused with his drinking and gambling. He also said he was “introduced to blow” during his last Vegas trip. So much for the story about the company that fed him cocaine so he’d sell more in the boiler room.

RotC is quite listenable... except for Virgy cackling at his own jokes... and Royce going into fits of what isn't at all 'roid rage... and the two of them collectively spending minutes at a time shitting on "the poors"... and Mersh being clinically incapable of making it to work on time for more than three straight days in a row... and the half an hour segments they devote to fat park hoppers... and the 10-15 minutes at a time they waste doing shitty impressions of shitty internet nobodies... and the outright stolen audio skits, incredibly dated prerecorded bits, and musical intermissions that are getting suspiciously longer as the show continues... but other than that, it's the best daily show on the internet that also only manages to actually air 2 out of every 3 times it's supposed to be on!

I tuned in two weeks ago and I was in shock that they still have the same cringe intro with " the heroes of the imperium", "knights of the 4chan" , " they share the same love for Alex Jones" + the classic "Mersh and Royce Lopez".

I’m guessing it has something to do with ROTC and mersh’s employment / tax status. Something recently changed there. Mersh became and “employee” of rotc rather than just a partner. (s corp?)

Mersh was upset at the low amount of pay compared to before . The guy cries about the stability of a salary and the ease of tax withholding.

He’s now getting a payroll check with deductions for taxes. And a circumstance of this is a change in what type of medical coverage he can qualify for. He’s probably going to be on the exchanges now for health coverage so he can still get blue boogers from snorting adderall.

I know "pocket watching" is uncool but it's one of the most interesting things about these fringe drama/ blood sports/ irl/ "comedian" guys. Like it's not fun to think about how wealthy Steiny or Ethan Klein are, but I love it when the ones who are sensitive about Not Being Wagies get defensive and drop some nuggets.
