Being a small town southerner in the early 2000s is a different universe than zoomers can comprehend. Rebel flags flying everywhere.
Oh i agree. I grew up in small town Oklahoma. But I don’t recall anyone saying they wouldn’t watch Dave because he’s a nIgGeR.

In high school during the late 90s/early 2000s, rednecks with their lifted trucks would listen to rap while their trucks had rebel flags on them. My high school would have put safe space faggots in a coma with all the shit talk and racist comments.

The white piece of shit who said it murdered a nice old man to steal some guns, it just takes all sorts. He was shooting up crack by dropping the rocks into vinegar before drawing it up. He also smoked cigs dipped in the embalming fluid for worms kept in the school science lab. Rich white boys lived in the hood to buy drugs and beer. Prom night was a literal race war. Blacks would attack every white they saw and vice versa. As an adult it's just sympathy for the parents now. God damn grand theft auto making our children hooked on drugs and crime /sneed

Not sure if this was asked before in this thread but it is an interesting question shared around the community.

"If Ending C didnt exist as the convenient Hollywood ending where everyone lives with our bad guy protagonists defeating all of the slightly worse bad guy villains, which Ending would you pick? A or B? And why?"

Altho Ending C is the best gameplay wise, Ending A really felt like the one that would make logical sense. Now I know Trevor fans would defend him, saying he is loyal but lets face it...thats really it. Trevor is extremely unstable, prone to violence at the slightest provocation and will actively make a situation worse if he gets annoyed enough. And most Trevor fans dont really seem to understand that Trevor would never be their buddies IRL, at best they would be "Ron", whom he constantly bosses around and disrespects (and as far as I know, practically ruined his life by threaten to disembowl his wife, turning him into his bitch slave). Trevor respects power and people as fucked up as he is (even if not openly so) thats why he "cares" for Micheal and the crew, he knows deep down they are hardly any better than him. And people are also forgetting Trevor was 100% ok with letting the Triad kill Micheal after he got kidnapped by them AND he doesnt even try to warn Micheal of Franklin's plan to off him in Ending B, so much for the "loyal" Trevor, huh?

Nvm that some side missions have Trevor legit kidnapping people to sell them to a cult to be sacrificed.

There is certainly a level of schizo writing with Trevor as he is shown to be the worst and dysfunctional EVEN for the criminal game standards and yet the narrative wants us to believe he is this great sensitive guy deep down that just needs to be given a chance and be given loyalty back. And the less I talk about him killing Johnny the best, tho its more the fault of the writer's raging boner for GTA 4 than Trevor's but I digress.

As much as I "like" Trevor as a character, I also know he is awful for the standards of GTA protagonists (and we had Toni Cipriani, who blown up a whole neighborhood, killing only god knows how many innocents, all for some cash amount of an average mission) and thus if any of the leads had to go, it might as well be him since at least you can argue Franklin and Micheal are doing the world a favor by getting rid of him (while killing Micheal is really doing only Devon a favor and screw that) and given how miserable Trevor is, it may also be putting him out of his misery.

But what you think? Anyone here would go for Ending B? And why?

Apparently this guy has worked on this GTA:SA mod for 20 years, and still hasn't released it. He's now homeless, but still wants to release the mod? Wtf.

At this point, Rockstar might as well take it down but with a note that says "sort out your life, dude"
More rumors from the GTA VI rumor mill; only this time, it’s regarding the WANTED level system

View attachment 7541753

A lot of it feels like fixing whats not broken and not going after the actual problems with the wanted system.

Idk, I know some of this stuff was indeed in RDR2 but it also feels like some of it wouldnt "fit" in GTA. The wanted system always worked given its simplicity and what always seemed to vary was the competence/aggression of the cops and how to get rid of them.

It all sounds like it would be slow and cumbersome as GTA's gameplay loop tends to be much faster than that of RDR2.

I really hope that GTA 6 isnt going to try to fix whats not broken and try to add needless complexity (other words, needless fluff) to the formula. GTA 4 was able to give a world that felt more "alive" than 5's and its wanted system didnt have to re-invent the wheel.
If GTAVI has yoga with big booty Latinas, then that itself is worth the $80-$100 for the game.

Sorry, you gotta pay their "TrueLovers" (OnlyFans GTA equivalent) with Shark Cards first.

Pay up, consumer.

I made my opinion on Trevor known earlier in the thread. But in addition to him being a danger to those around him, he's also someone who very nearly got the feds to come down on the whole crew's head with that half-cocked Merryweather Heist.

A lot of the GTA 6 leaks I've seen seem more like wishful thinking than anything that is likely to happen. Wishful thinking that is colored by the obsession with "realism" that the GTA community seems to have.

Although, I will say that I think there's a lot of merit in taking various systems from RDR2 even if I don't think the wanted system is one of them.

I could see Franklin going about with Ending A to get the Feds off his back and help Michael deal with Trevor. Lamar Down was putting Franklin's loyalty to the test, so that set up for Trevor after that wouldn't make much sense. Maybe if Rockstar rewrote Ending A or Franklin's characterization, it'd make more sense. Ending B doesn't make sense since Micheal has been straight with Franklin since the beginning.

True. Trevor is an actual liability.
Lamar Down was putting Franklin's loyalty to the test, so that set up for Trevor after that wouldn't make much sense.
Is entirely different the situation with Lamar and with Trevor, despise both are somewhat similar.

Nah, basically the entire point of Ending A is dispose Trevor by FIB agents.
Ending B doesn't make sense since Micheal has been straight with Franklin since the beginning.
Not entirely. He lies to Franklin a lot with his earlier life and Trevor's existence.
Man, even himself is tired of all the facade.

It's thematic. "Pure Cinema" as the kids call it these days.

Trevor was straight with Mike, and he still took the deal to "get out" while fully expecting him to die.

And honestly, outside of the house, Mike pretty much uses Franklin as hired help that gets him involved in a lot of serious shit without much payout. They don't actually have the money from the Union Depository yet, and Devin Weston could seem like a nice "way out" for him.

It's the whole thing coming full circle for Michael.

>MICHAEL MADSEN FUCKING DIED?

That sucks :(

I knew his voice sounded familiar form The Sopranos. It made sense that Toni's voice from LCS wasn't the same actor. Three years had to give him some grime in the tough streets.

Michael Madsen, the voice of Toni Cipriani in GTA III, has passed away at the age of 67 from cardiac arrest.
Rockstar Games paid tribute to him in the most GTA III way they could

Someone check on Toni’s mom, for I think she’d be shell shocked right now after drinking her wine wondering why she can’t be like the neighbor’s kid.

Rockstar also did the same thing for the likes of Roy Ayers and Ray Liotta when they both passed. One did the actual radio station of a doc jazz and funk for GTA IV, where as of course the latter voiced Tommy Vercetti; the same latter one who may or may not get Easter eggs in GTA VI when it is all said and done.

is there a good download of GTA 3 - SA? I want to play them again on PC (and prefer not to play the shitty jeet DE versions) with maximum modding abilities

For SA if you own a copy on steam then downgrade it to 1.0 and get cracked 1.0 exe, avoid compact exe as it's not 100% compatible with some ASI stuff.
If you don't have a copy then get the OG release from HOODLUM this should work.
Then I'd recommend to get Silent Patch and modloader so you don't have to mess with gta3.img and file editing, just drop folders with mods straight in.

Try the Internet Archive website.

She's probably dead from the shame and the worry.

Other light gun games existed in the US like Time Crisis 2. Or was it because of it being inside of a mansion?
Sega refused to include a proper Sega licenced light gun for the Dreamcast but there were several third party light guns.
