Is that screenshot old? If not fake, cub/shota/lolicon along with the general sexualization of fictional children is against Discord's ToS as of current. Cub isn't real animal sexual abuse by the way, it's pretty much just shota/loli but furry flavor. /If that image is just a meme, then excuse me lmao.

As for whether they actually ban people or servers for this content, I have no clue, Discord from my experience and evidently here too hardly does anything to the sexual abuse of real minors either. I ran across a Harm Nation member who was trying to get a kid in a server I was in to cut the HN logo into themselves like a year ago and I haven't been able to get them banned, yet the server we kept their evidence in got terminated + all admins terminated over it.

It's from a years-old controversy, yes. I believe they only banned cub porn after getting enough negative attention from the public. But the fact that Discord employed such disgusting perverts and likely still continues to is extremely worrying.

It's a shame, because every major outlet should be covering this and it'd be so easy for them to make sense of it to the layman: "The Internet's most popular platform for children is allowing explicit pornographic sex simulators which kids can play with strangers." Bam, everyone can understand that and why it's evil. Compare that to: "We found another condo game in the Hatch event for Roblox, and once it was reported, it replaced its doors with security guards and was reinstated." Unfortunately, you already lost about 95% of the parents there.

I'm not dumping on these dudes; I get the restraints placed on how they talk about these things on Youtube. There's only so much they can do and it's always better they do it rather than do nothing, but it's still a bitter reminder of how much more could be done to stop this. Tens of millions of children are being flippantly exposed to interactive pornography every single day, and even if Roblox magically became perfect overnight, lifelong damage has already been done for many players. It's hard not to be pessimistic when all the powers that be seem determined to perpetuate this exploitation.

I gave it a watch and Gwamgo is trying to argue that helping out someone's math homework is a "power imbalance" that can lead to control and coercion in a relationship.
These drama Youtubers truly know some 3 year age gap isn't something worth discrediting a person over and they're trying to portray it as some adult developer wanting some 15 year old vulnerable mentally ill pussy by using the most profoundly retarded reasoning ever imagined.

Hah, yeah I commented on a fan's wall once or twice. Not a huge fan as I'm mostly just into the first two games (I'm sure LC is a good game but any game that caters to mobilefags is not for me) rather than any of the other material (which are pretty good anyway), and the lore feels...too incomplete for me to nerd over. I do look forward to more stuff from them at least. And yes that janny screenshot is "old" but I'm not sure how old. Not a meme, became a meme, eventually memory holed. Good write up, thought cub was just baby animal porn, which...sadly does exist if entities like Kero are any indicator. Total Discord Death, Total Furfag Death, Total Pedo Obliteration.

Honestly whenever I see something like this come out for Roblox or similar games lots of children are into, it's just so unbelievably tiring with how unsurprised I am.

Right to deletion is a bit more complicated than ROBLOX just deleting all the data they have on you. What actually happens is that all the games the user has played are brought up, and the owners of the games are contacted and requested to delete the data. Now, the game in question was a hold over of a group game from like 10 years ago and it did not have data stores (instead using group ranks). But, this is how meticulous ROBLOX will get. I don't even remember the user in question, so they must have been someone who randomly joined.

This is naturally difficult because 1: Some developers are inactive (I only checked my account because I sometimes like to check up on some older games I use to play to see how they are doing). 2: People who have a shit ton of unique visitors will have to either find a way to automate this, or spend most of their time deleting this shit.

Basically, it's not in ROBLOX's interests to make this easy.

This is the case. Data Stores, which is what Roblox developers do for storing data, are not formatted the same across all games. Some users may have data across several different Data Stores and the name of those keys used to identify the player's data isn't the same for each game, so unless Roblox manually looks through your code and figures out what data to delete, they can't do that

Oh yeah, we have some posts about it that you can find on this very thread (mostly written by @Digital Thunder) you should check them out if wanna see what pure lego game autism looks like.

I actually thought Pressure was a cool horror game when I played it a few years back, but the fanbase is mostly made of furries and people from the alphabet soup, needless to say that being unhinged is the norm there.

As for the fish, he's basically the only monster NPC that helps you out instead of outright killing you like the others, so he's kind of special (and also a Tumblr sexyman because of Gianni syndrome)

Going for a little side tangent over here, but I've realized how a lot of people these days are thirsting over ROBLOX characters, especially from games like Pressure and Phighting, I guess all those fujos/spergs who grew up are now replacing the weebs from yesterday ou algo.
