As for dehydration, fluids don't necessarily need to be done intravenously, they can just be subcutaneous. Whether or not a single hospital would have enough fluid to hydrate her blimp sized body is another story.

I think Deraa is promising as where Salad was likely spawned from. This guy Atif Al-Ahman who posted this photo with Murad and Salad also lists Deraa as his hometown on Facebook. Atif's wife even says she is living there now.

This also matches where Gunt and Salad were driving on the M5. Interestingly, Deera/ Daraa is considered a revolutionary hotspot which fits what we know about Sally. I just don't know if they are staying there now or if this is where some supposed family home is. I don't agree w previous post that it's crazy to think there's a Salad family home there. Each time that Chantal has been awol is when she is on the move. Chantal cannot be off-line for very long. But where? They said that her present flat was only temporary. It could be that Salah did not want her to come till the new place is ready. It is also likely that the new flat would not have AC, or constant electricity, which would not please Chantal.
