This was the projection of house representative reapportionment (and thus electoral college point reapportionment) prior to the 2024 election. Do you notice anything?

All the states gaining seats are traditionally republican strongholds. All the states losing seats are traditionally democrat strongholds. Based off the 2024 election, Kamala would have been down a further 12 points had this been the electoral map at the time. That's another state she'd would have had to pick up just to still lose at the number she did. That's also not leaving out that's another 12 house representatives that would likely go to republicans. Making a republican majority easier to gain.

Now, and here is the important part, this is all before Trump took office and started deporting people. The census counts legal, and illegal alike, and it counts children as well. Trump has already deported at least 200,000 people with the current ICE budget, and all the democrat judge bullshit. Imagine how many illegals (and their anchor babies) he'll boot out of the country with the billions in more funding, and with most of the democrat lawfare no longer working. Now remember how that's gonna effect the census.

So I was looking to see what the senate amendments are and boy do we have some real fucking "winners" in this. It's nothing much with a few exceptions that are good like Ernst's amendment but the thought processes of some of these shit heads.

Before I begin the big list of morons, huhs?, and good we have to get something straight. A lot of these amendments were Point of Ordered. If you don't know what that is: It's what happens when an amendment crosses over into something that it shouldn't or something that congress alone gets to decide. In this case it's about Senate Budget of 2008 law. If it gets PoO'd it takes 60 votes instead of 50+ to pass. If a vote is 50-50 it also doesn't pass. So a lot of the amendments that republicans wanted passed didn't because they didn't get 60 votes. If it fails it's called Out of Order.

Kloubuchar(D-Minnesota the youngest of the Karen senators) wanted to delay state payment matching for medicare/aid. Failed 45-55.

Merkley (D-Oregon punchable face) tried to get cryptocurrency corruption prevention in there. PoO'd. Failed 47-53. Out of Order I don't know how to feel about this, but cryptobros deserve whatever the fuck happens to them.

Warner(D-Virginia) wanted to use lease profits from the metro washington airport to help fun air saftey and construction? failed 50-50. I'm not I mean good on paper but...huh?
