For the first one, I'm not so sure they're meant to be black. For the second one I think that might be a black man, possibly as an illustration to a majority black church, not black Jesus.

Don't, it'll drive you crazy. College educated "biblical scholars" are also generally lolcows who don't know basic things. I had the displeasure of talking with one and he didn't know what he was talking about.

I understand the idea of separation between church and state but it really confuses me that America generally doesn't teach the Bible in school as a work of literature. The West is pretty much built off this book and most Americans are ignorant of it.

I'd argue that most Americans are raised in Christian households and are exposed to Christian content enough to generally know the biblical story. If you're for teaching theology in schools then logically you would have to include the other Abrahamic Religions at the very least; it would be helpful so that people can better understand the history in the middle east.

It's hard to believe that was only a year ago... seems longer honestly. I'm remembering the 4 months leading up to the election how certain everyone was that Kamala would win, you'd think i would have learned not to believe pollsters by now but i was pretty blackpilled.

Edit: I'm not religious but the actual source, precision of language and intent of every word matters, especially in something as important as a religious text. A lot of Bibles tend to simplify the language to make it easier to digest but it can can alter the meanings of certain verses and paragraphs significantly. King James Version is the only valid English translation of the bible IMO.

The blackpill feeling was due to a mixture of 2020 making everyone with a brain wary of election integrity combined with how many flat-out retarded sheep there are who would literally vote for a rock if the news said to. The fact that Kamala got as many votes as she did, even losing, is a tragedy.
