I'd argue that most Americans are raised in Christian households and are exposed to Christian content enough to generally know the biblical story. If you're for teaching theology in schools then logically you would have to include the other Abrahamic Religions at the very least; it would be helpful so that people can better understand the history in the middle east.

IIRC Greek democracy allowed a vote to landowners and those that had served in the military, ie people with skin in the game. UMC leadership changed its guidelines so openly homosexual ministers doing gay shit was okay, which pissed a lot of people off. While i'm not 100% sold, i'm more optimistic than ever before that this will happen for the entirety of North America, Europe and the anglosphere due to how many self deportations and flat out stopped border crossings we've seen from just applying a little bit of resistance.
