My money is on her radio silence being a result of her gtfo of Syria. Who could honestly believe that she would last more than 2 or 3 days without a/c and access to fast food? Based on the dox of his Facebook profile sometime between FB introducing him and her arriving in Kuwait, Salah himself is from Daraa (it listed the specific area of Daraa, but I don't remember the name). He/his family didn't flee till 2011, within a month after the 2011 uprising in Daraa. The area is also where the Free Syrian Army originated. Salah consistently posted in support about the FSA.
His Facebook profile listed where he was from, the high school he attended till spring 2011, and then the Kuwaiti high school from which he graduated later that year.
It's not a stretch to believe his family left a home in Daraa, but considering the duration and intensity of the fighting in that area, who knows if it's still standing.
When Chantal first mentioned him, she specified that he was a syrian living in Kuwait since he had to flee during the war. After she arrived in Kuwait, the retcon story was that he was born in Kuwait to Syrian parents, and grew up in Kuwait.
I don't know for sure, but I believe the inspiration for this retelling of his life story was related to all the chatter here and on twitter about how Kuwait had recently started deporting Syrians, and they had also stopped renewing Syrian work visas and whatever temporary emergency visa was given to Syrians. Kuwait doesn't do refugees, but whatever they called the visa acted as a refugee visa. The lunatic poo touchers were @ing Syrian official accounts on twitter and stated they were calling local authority offices to tell them that a Syrian with a fake business was living in sin with a western, stink-beast sharmuta.

TL;DR I absolutely believe they are staying in Daraa. Maybe the idea was to save money, do up his childhood home and live there for free? Who knows.

I will go into more details about what I've been up to and my experience so far in upcoming videos. I just ask for a bit of patience with the lack of content as I adjust to the life here. I am filming things, but I have not had any time to edit and upload, reply to comments or dms, or even cameos. I will have some content out soon, Inshallah.
