The faces are so blatantly ripped off from Animal Crossing, though. Wouldn't surprise me if there were other characters with actual triangles for noses as well.
Considering troonardos love using Animal Crossing (and other games) to vibrate their assholes, I wouldn't be surprised if this had also been a troony game with buttplug support on the way.

PS1/Retro graphics in the modern/tranny concept means Low res, shitty textures and low polygon count. the rest like lighting and shading doesn't matter, even the devs don't care and are so incompetent they can't use anything other than Unity with premade rendering techniques.

Some of the same reasons Doom didn't become System Shock 2 or Quake didn't become de-jure Daikatana: it's just easier to develop. And there's a market for that shit. And modern retro-inspired imsims are already kind of a thing, it's just that it's not quite as popular (though Cruelty Squad got some notoriety, mostly for looking and sounding like barf).
