The horrifying thing about Tesla is if you look at the time, expense and hassle that he’s gone through, plus the ecological damage that lithium mining does… if he’d pumped all those resources into hydrogen fuel cells refillable from solar-powered home stations, he’d likely have 30+ percent of the domestic car market by now. Imagine vehicles that produce zero pollution and run on the equivalent of a quarter per gallon.

I don't get how this EV talking point got started. He has been against them for years. Know why? Because he can undercut all other EVs without them. It's the legacy brands like Ford and GM that can't can't compete without them. His big thing is solar because he seems to think it's free and less hassle than nuclear. I'd rather have nuclear but Trump isn't pushing it and instead says coal is the way for some reason.

Coal in 'Murica is extremely plentiful in parts of the country. If he can push coal hard AF, he can get a lot of the old mining boom going and it will look quite impressive on job reports.

One is just do Medicaid directly, like Texas does. Illegal aliens can't enroll directly in Medicaid. The other is to run your own state program, and Medicaid will match (IIRC) 60% of the funds your state spends. This latter way, it may shock you, does not restrict states from admitting illegals. California and Oregon both use this latter method.
