The split with Ralph left him with two pathways:
Pathway One: He worked hard at his x-ray tech career and got a few rungs up the ladder with diligent CPD. This left no time for internet perversion and he joined an IRL study group to get further qualifications in imaging. Because of this he ended up with genuine friends and something of a social life. He joined the Imaging section team in the interdepartmental bowling league and learned to have good clean fun. His promotion included good health insurance and he used it to get his teeth fixed and went on ozempic. He got a haircut and some decent clothes and managed to find a boyfriend free girl. They enjoy weekend hikes and got a doggo who is the goodest boy.
