The full context, which was provided, is actually worse than just him liking the anime. He said that he read and liked the manga, and afterwards watched the anime and didn't like it, but he specifically said that he realized that he didn't like the anime when Jade walked in on him while he was watching one of the rape torture scenes and asked if he was watching hentai.

Redo of healer revolves around a 14 year old getting turned into a sex slave, gains magical powers to turn back time, collects a bunch of overpowered abilities and proceeds to counter rape his rapers as revenge.
